Right near the heart of all the Gurnee action. This Hampton was built a while ago but very well maintained. Staff is very good and helpful. Rooms very clean and well maintained. Breakfast included. Many restaurants nearby!
Spent the night prior to a day at the amusement park. Took advantage of the "Stay and Play" special. Like others have said, rooms are a little tight, but clean and comfy. Staff was friendly and breakfast bar was well stocked. We tried the outdoor...More
We stayed one night at the Hampton inn Gurnee. Check in went smoothly, not a lot of parking available but we found a space eventually. Free coffee in the lobby which is always a welcome sight after a long drive. It is an older style...More
Good hotel close to park and restaurants and mall. Staff was accommodating and accessible.
Make sure everything works in your room before you settle in for night. My family enjoyed our visit the rooms could be bigger. If you have 4 adults get two rooms.

Totally walkable, roughly 15 minutes walk from hotel door to park gate. At times you are close to the road, but there is a sidewalk. As you get to the main entrance the traffic light is fine as we crossed in the AM and left late at night so it was dark out. No issues at all. The one item I did see was a person in an electric wheelchair didn't have a clear walkway all the way from the light to the park. No issues for us to walk over grass for 20 yards or so, but if anybody in your party is mobility challenged, you may not want to walk it.
