Fantastic little duplex style suite. Very clean, well maintained and well supplied. We would definitely go back! We texted the owner on our way and she met us at the door. No waiting! The setting is in a residential area and farther from the wine trail than we expected, but close to local restaurants.

This Inn is perfect! The location was great and the loft itself was very clean. It had all anyone would want for a weekend stay. The owner was fantastic. We had problems with our door and called the owner (late at night). She answered right away and walked me through the problem. I'll definitely stay again in the future.

Great location if you plan on doing the wine trail. It is a convenient location. Loved the romantic cottage. It was nice and had everything you could need. They don't serve breakfast, but we really didn't care. We had a coffee pot so we were happy. Nice quiet location in a residential area. We definitely will stay there again next...

We loved our stay at the loft in Hidden Lake Guesthouse. Rebecca has thought of everything to keep her guests comfortable and to make us feel welcome and pampered. The decor is precious and the space is immaculately clean. Even though it is right in town, the setting is idyllic and peaceful. It's a great place to stay while enjoying...

My husband and I have stayed at Hidden Lake Bed and Breakfast twice, and both times were wonderful. The cabins are modern and clean and the owners are very responsive to requests. Most attractions are within a 30 minute drive. We really enjoyed the wineries and Cache River and Giant City State Park. We will definitely be back! We stayed...

We stayed in the two-room Tuscan Suite, complete with kitchenette (no dishwasher) and whirlpool tub. The accommodations were spacious, tastefully decorated, and immaculate. It's a guest house (rather than a hotel) on a quiet street on grassy acreage. A good base for exploring the area, particularly the Illinois Wine Trail. Our hosts also included a DVD of area attractions, so...

Who cares about breakfast when you get to enjoy this absolutely perfect retreat. You will be greeted by a sweet smile and a warm wow i am home feeling. The rooms are perfect, absolutely spotless and the attention to detail is obvious. The little things here are to many to mention but believe me there are a lot. I do...

The owners were very friendly. The suite was clean and decorated beautifully. It sits just outside of town, so we enjoyed the quiet peacefulness, and were still just minutes away from town if we needed to go get anything.

We used HLGH as our base for traveling the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. We enjoyed the convenience to the trail, Jonesboro and Anna while HLGH offers reasonable privacy on a dead end road. The suite was perfect. We understood breakfast was not an option prior to arrival - not a problem for us. This a great gem where you might...

What a precious little gem nestled conveniently near some of Southern Illinois' best attractions! Easy to find too! The new owners are very kind and have thought of lots of little things to make this place an ideal romantic retreat. Definitely a place we will visit again!
