Our visit to Coral Bay was completely wonderful - we extended our stay because we liked it so much! The view was stunning, there is nothing better than waking up to the perfectly still sea spread out in front of you and wading out for a morning dip. The staff were great, always friendly and helpful! We went diving, and...

went to coral bay with 9 friends for a holiday whilst we were spending time in Hong Kong. The resort is as described but so much more. it is very reasonably priced, the location is unique - completely isolated and you really feel surrounded by nature and tranquility. there are many reviews on here which initially put me off booking...

This is such an under-rated place to stay. It is a staggeringly beautiful private island with very friendly staff. The rooms are nice and clean. It takes about an hour by car from the airport, where you then get a free hours boat ride to the hotel. The journey itself is very easy and stunning so don't let it put...

The one thing I would like to emphasis. Your accommodations are on an island. All amenities are supplied by the Coral Bay Resort. There are two free boat shuttles of the island twice daily. This is some thing that I think needed to be stated clearly by previous reviews. Other than that, spectacular accommodations. Super cool grass hut type rooms....

There is no wifi, the water quit one day so I had to shower at the restaurant bathroom. The coral reef is actually further off shore after a huge mud flat that smells like decomposing sulfur, the restaurant charges huge huge fees: a 9$ bottle of wine is 25$. Food in the restaurant gets incredibly boring. The whole setup is...

Let me start with that I now how it works in the Philippines: not everything works and time is a relative concept. But I feel obliged to share my experiences with my fellow would-be guests on this resort. We had to flee the resort after just 2 nights waiving 2 weeks of prepaid vacations and buy an expensive flight back...

We arrived at Coron Airport bang on time thanks to Cebu Pacific and proceeded to Coron town (the transfer costs P150 each for 22 kilometres) and waited for our free shuttle to Concepcion wharf that we shared with a French couple. The road to Concepcion has some concreted sections but a fair bit of gravel. There are at least two...

We went to coral bay a week before Christmas. While it might have been a good choice in 2011, it's obvious that nobody is interested in investing in the place. Instead the owner/manager? used the cash flow to start building a nice concrete mansion just nearby. While most offer resorts in the area have already cleaned up most of the...

We stayed in the resort for 4 nights in December to dive the wrecks. The place is fully up and running with repairs completed after the typhoon. The location is on the most outlying island in the archipelago - in idilic bay. The resort provides transfer twice a day to Coron, though our flight was lending so that we could...

We started by taking the FREE TRANSFER from the office in Coron town. After a nice 90 min boat trip we arrived to the resort. We were greeted by staff on the peer and our luggage was carried for us. The bungalows was very nice due to the fact that they all newly renovated after the typhoon. We were the...
