We decided to take a little trip to celebrate my 40th. I just wanted somewhere that was away from he hustle and bustle and every day life. On arrival the first thing that greets you are the amazing and quite simply breathtaking views and scenery. We were shown to our room (The Kilmore Suite). First impressions were WOW. The room was spotless and decor was so original and opulent. The bar was so cosy with a fabulous open fire lighting. We ate in Kilmore both nights. Finger food on the first night and a taster menu on the second night. We also had breakfast both mornings .... the food can only be described as outstanding. The staff, particularly Ollie, Sarah and chef Peter were so attentive and made such an effort with little personal touches for both of us. Absolutely nothing was a problem. They made it such a wonderful few days for us and we were made feel like a part of the family. Christina can be very proud of what she has achieved with Kilmore Country House so far. She truly has created a little piece of Heaven. Thank you x

Have never had an experience like the one I had during my stay at kilmore country house. The food was at fine dining standard with all my allergens taken into account and perfect substitutions freshly made for each meal to accommodate my dietary requirements. The service standard was second to none and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating if they tried! The views are breathtaking and were complimented by the well kept grounds and beautiful decor of the hotel. The room was the perfect combination between modern and comfortable and had a bespoke style. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!

My son and daughter in law picked this venue for their wedding. We extended the glorious day by staying the night before too. The venue is amazing. Clean, classy, warm and very comfortable indeed. The huge marquee building for the main event was perfect. The best aspect of Kilmore however is the staff. They were all absolutely wonderful. The only tiny negative was the awful coffee served both mornings at the otherwise lovely breakfast. Maybe someone will fix that? Very highly recommended.
