As soon as I walked in to the Brightwood Inn - I knew I'd be back. It is very warm and welcoming. It sits on a nice piece of property that, although it is still winter, was beautiful to look at outside my windows. I stayed in the Mallory Square room. It is spacious with lots of windows. Very cozy....

Wonderful stay in a beautiful house in a rural area. The grounds are gorgeous. Rooms are spacious and inviting. Loved the huge whirlpool tub and fireplace. Kevin and Sharon are great hosts, and breakfasts were delicious! And yes, Kevin's granola is phenomenal!

It was great to meet you both. So glad you enjoyed the beautiful weather, wine and people watching for the Utica Winter Wine Walk. And that you weren't to traumatized by your Uber experience!!!! Hope your kids like the granola. We look forward to seeing you in the future. It is super easy to be nice to nice people.

We loved our two-night stay in the beautiful country home! The hosts were lovely and warm, the rooms were very cozy and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious! The atmosphere is very peaceful and the proximity to Starved Rock & Matthesian State Park are ideal for outdoorsy folks like ourselves. The Sequoia room we stayed in offers a stunning view...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights, from Thursday to Sunday. We stayed upstairs in the Sequoia room, which was spacious and comfortable. Our hosts, Sharon and Kevin, along with Kevin's dad, Jon, were warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed the extended conversations that we had with all of them. The breakfast is ample and homemade. It's really...

This was our second visit to the Brightwood Inn, and we love it. Our hosts, Sharon and Kevin, were very friendly and easy to talk to. This visit, we stayed in the Door County room, a little smaller than the room we stayed in last time, but plenty of room. Breakfast is always very good, this time we had pumpkin...

We stayed for 2 nights. Brightwood Inn is a beautiful B&B near a lot of state parks but far enough away to enjoy the peach and quiet of the country. Sharon and Kevin are great hosts! Plan on going back again!!

Beautiful property, friendly service and adequate breakfast. The room was much larger than we expected, we stayed in The Savannah room. The website states one queen, but it was two doubles when we were there. The Bay Window had views of the garden. We were a little nervous to try a bed and breakfast but it was a great experience....
