We spent the last 2 nights of our 5 night stay in Cape Breton at Yellow Sidecar and it was a perfect experience. The room was very comfortable with a wonderful view of the ocean, breakfasts were all 10/10, and the location was great with several restaurants within 20-30 minutes. To top it all off, Roger and Brenda are the sweetest people and fantastic hosts. They welcomed us and made us feel at home, offering suggestions for things to do, calling restaurants for reservations, and truly going above and beyond what we expected. The 2 nights we spent with them were our favourite nights of the trip. You will not find a better spot to start or finish your trip around the trail. We will definitely be back in the future!

Sit on the front porch and enjoy a view of the water as the sun sets. A real treasure. We enjoyed our stay with Brenda and Roger. Close to Cape Breton National Park and amenities a few km down the road. Breakfasts delicious. We enjoyed the company of our hosts at dinner and a few hours of traditional fiddle music. We would highly recommend this B&B. A home away from home.

Brenda and Roger are the perfect couple to run a B & B. They know and love their town and the history of so much of Nova Scotia. Making sure we had everything we needed for our stay - delicious breakfasts, lovely room, and even an ice pack for my knee!
They have led, and continue to lead active, interesting lives which we loved hearing about.
The view of the ocean was spectacular and provided one of the longest and most colorful sunsets we've witnessed in a long time.

Roger and Brenda were excellent hosts and the breakfasts were extraordinary .
They helped us sort out trips and recommended restaurants. We learnt about the history of the house and the yellow sidecar. The go to place on Cape Breton Island just delightful.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying with Brenda and Roger in their new B & B. They are a great couple who know how to please guests. The rooms of their traditional home are very clean, beautifully decorated and surprisingly spacious for the style of house. The setting, right on The Cabot Trail between Cheticamp and Margaree Harbour, is the optimum place to view the sunsets. The breakfast that we had was very satisfying and extremely tasty. Brenda and Roger are avid sidecar motorcyclists with many interesting pictures of their travels. Motorcyclists as well as car travellers will enjoy staying in this beautiful area with these excellent hosts and their tasty breakfasts.

The owners are delighted to welcome you to the lounge & will share dvd clips of local fiddlers, scenery & extreme weather.

Good 8am breakfasts & you will probably chat to your fellow guests (only 1 other room in the b&b anyway).

The room was comfy & snug & a large bathroom just for your rooms use is well appointed

Easy to find b&b facing the sea & hopefully you will see an amazing sunset

Strongly recommended and good value

We had the most amazing two nights in Cape Le Moine on the Cabot trail. The hosts are the nicest couple, and with a name like yellow sidecar, not only are they bikers, Roger is somewhat of a legend! If you ride, this is were you stay, and if you don't, well, you should stay here too.

As for our stay, well we felt more like we were guests at a friends house, than staying in an establishment. Breakfast was served at 8am and all the guests ate together. The conversations at the table were always interesting. Quite honestly the breakfast was probably the best meal we'd had in all of the trail.

The rooms were quaint, and had a cottage feel. The bed was comfy. The baths and toilet were shared by all the guests. We stayed in the only room in the house that hadsa toilet and sink ensuite.

Brenda and Roger were very helpful with planning our day trips and suggesting restaurants for our meals. All in all an amazing experience. We wouldn't stay anywhere else if we returned to the Cabot Trail.

PS: the pictures do no justice, and the sunsets from the front porch are spectacular.

The end of the Cabot Trail brought us to this delightful respite. Brenda and Roger opened the doors to their home and it felt immediately like we were home as well. Our second floor bedroom had a shared bath like none we had experienced in any of our other lodgings. Everything was clean, newly decorated, appointed with fixtures like we would love to have at home, and the spectacular views from our windows made it difficult to choose between moving to the front porch or hanging out upstairs. The scenery in this part of Cape Breton is spectacular in its bleakness. The more than copious home-cooked breakfast kept us going for the day. Our fondest memories are of the conversations with our hosts and other guests. In the evening, we at last got pictures of a mother moose and her two calves, ambling across the road right in front of our car. If you can find the time, we would recommend highly spending a few days here and expect to live at a slower pace in order to enjoy the company and region.

My wife and I stayed here and the property was clean, the rooms were well kept and beautifully decorated and clean with fresh towels, soaps e.t.c.. The B&B was well situated right off of the Cabot trail fairly close to the town of Cheticamp and the view from the front porch is beautiful. Roger and Brenda are lovely people who make you feel at home the moment you arrive. The breakfast was superb we had fresh home made scones .and fruit and yogurt and eggs benedict toast and cereals and other items were also available. We would recommend this B & B and would stay again in a heartbeat.

My fiancé and I have been in Nova Scotia traveling around for 10 days and Brenda & Roger's B&B has been by far the best we've stayed at. They are so welcoming and make you feel at home. It's cosy and the breakfast amazing (we'd received an email prior to our arrival to check dietary requirements and inform us about closing business times in the area).
The view from the kitchen table is also magical!
Do not hesitate - book a night ( or two!).
A big thank you to both of you, we will return one day!!
