Prior to joining friends in Soufriere we wanted a taste of real St Lucia, and where better to provide it than A Peace of Paradise. Whilst on first glance this guest house was smaller and more rustic than I was expecting, the service and glorious beauty of the surrounding rainforest more than made up for that. Lorraine is an exceptional...

We booked a villa in Cap Estate for the majority of our stay in St. Lucia, but for our first night I was looking for something a little different and wanted to experience the rainforest more. Peace of Paradise was exactly what I needed. It is surrounded by rainforest, has a river with a pool deep enough to swim in...

I stayed 8 days at Peace of Paradise this year. It is really a place where you can unstress, if you are. I stayed by my self and Lorraine really did make me feel at home and tried to help when necessary. I was her first guest with a mountainbike and this is a good place to start for different...

I stayed in a number of hotels and b&bs on Saint Lucia for work, and this is my favourite. Lorraine is a wonderful, kind host, and you'll be hard pressed to find a better breakfast anywere else. For other meals, you can cook for yourself or try Foxgrove Inn, within walking distance. Wifi works well and the bedrooms are clean...

Lorraine is a wonderful host who has expert knowledge of the island and genuinely wants all her guest to make the most of their stay. I was a little wary of travelling alone but Lorraine made...

What a lovely place! And what a shame we could only stay 2 nights here as we had to catch the ferry. This was one of the best places we stayed at our trip to both Dominca & St Lucia and definitely the best value for money!!! The cheapest, and yet one of the best. We immediately felt good and...

At first surprised where the location was, far away from any amenities, I'm used to staying in hotels, so this was a different experience for me, but me and my husband ending up loving it, we got to bath in the fresh river water at the back of the house in the morning's and taking in the sounds of nature,...
