Bungalow #5...right on the lagoon with a motu right in front of you. It is a beautiful beach and the customer service was awesome!!! Whatever you needed, they provided it. It was walking distance to some fabulous restaurants including the yellow lizzard and the mayflower!!!! We did two excursions that were recommended and didn't disappoint. We were waling distance to... More

This small group of bungalows by the bay across from a motu is a super value for the money. The hostess could not be more welcoming and added to the fantastic charm and warmth of the stay. In many ways it reminded us of a bed and breakfast in the US. Nice sandy white beach, great snorkeling past the motu,... More

Perfect for us. Perks were having our own kitchen, easy beach access, unlimited use of kayaks and snorkel gear/flippers and that we were close to 3 dinner places and a store and even another small shopping center. We did not rent a car since excursions and restaurants provide transportation. Except for one day we rented a car to tour the... More

We just got back from our trip to Moorea about a week ago. We stayed 5 nights at the Moorea Fare Miti. I couldn't imagine a better place to spend our time on the island. I travelled with my wife and 2 daughters. I chose this location because it has a private room for the adults, a kitchenette, it's right... More

We've just left Moorea after 3 amazing nights at Fare Miti. If you are not looking for a mass hotel (eg Intercontinental / Hilton / Sofetel) then this place could be perfect for you, it was for us. A small set of around 8 bungalows located perfectly on a golden sand beach with crystal clear water. There isn't food on... More

Fabian was especially helpful, providing good advice, and arranging transfers and ferry tickets for us at very good prices. There are some excellent reasonably priced restaurants within easy walking distance of Fare Miti, and some small supermarkets where you can get food for breakfast or lunch and beer or wine. We used the kayaks to go snorkelling beyond the motu... More

The location is excellent It is a very quite area. The property is a short walk to several restaurants and stores. The mini kitchen allowed meals that you wanted when you wanted them. There is an excellent little beach. Just lay out and soak up paradise or you can snorkel and kayak right from the beach. The covered picnic tables... More

I loved this place so very pretty. Fabian and Elvis were just lovely. Always helpful and stopping to say hi or just ask about your day. The peace and beauty of this place is s must experience. No air conditioning. Very open. No radio telephone or tv. Stand up basic shower. Also an outside basic shower. Beautiful lanai. Simplicity and... More

This is an excellent place to stay. It is small, but has everything you might want. There is a sandy beach and a small motu across the shallow lagoon with very good snorkling on the (reef) side of the motu and on the right-hand side across the narrow channel. The bungalows have everything you need and the staff are terrific... More
