Absolutely fantastic course run by Les who has such a wealth of knowledge and experience. We made Pitta breads, two Lebanese Maneesh breads, a Fougasse Provencale and a Pizza which we then had for lunch followed by a homemade meringue, cream and fruit, homemade by the lovely Louise. I would recommend this to anyone whether you have bread making experience...

A lovely day spent making different loaves under Les' patient tuition...lots of 'hands on' and explaination of what works and where pitfalls may lie......three fab breads to take away and impress my family with! Great lunch too, nice atmosphere generally...I'll definitely go back!

We spent this years Christmas holiday in the Brewhouse Cottage and it was everything we expected. We were warmly welcomed by Louise with a tray of tea and freshly baked scones, a warm loaf of round bread (all baked by Les), a bottle of local red wine, a nice jar of pickle and milk in the fridge. The AGA was...

Fantastic day spent learning how to bake bread. There were six of us on the course and Les was our instructor. We cooked Focaccia, Baguette and Artisan loaves. We had coffee and cakes and a superb lunch all home made.

I was delighted with the end results - my wife thought I had bought them!!! Thoroughly recommend this day to anyone interesting in making high...

A great location in the Sussex Countryside to do an Artisan Baking Course. A cosy room, warmed by the wood burning oven, with ample space for the six participants to mix, kneed, slap and form the dough that miraculously became three Delicious loaves ! Home made biscuits and great lunch provided. Good value, fun and new skill learnt.

I went to the Artisan Bakehouse to learn how to make bread. I am a keen cook but bread baffled me. Les took us through the whole process of bread making in great detail. We made focaccia, baguette and a white loaf. Each bread was different so I learned 3 methods. The end results were amazing. There I was with...
