Very nice hotel that offers spacious rooms. Clean and nicely appointed. Very quiet all evening and overnight. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are high quality. Both soft and firm pillows are provided.
So many issues with this Holiday Inn. The worst one I've stayed at in many years. Most importantly, there are several safety concerns - hotel door didn't close unless pulled tight, safety lock inside room on door was not functional, door in the stairwell to...More

The whole site is under heavy construction. The main entrance is closed and guests have to walk through weddings to get in and out. The pool is inexplicably closed.
I'm very glad I was only staying one night.
To be fair, the room itself was...More

The hotel has easy to the Edens/Kennedy expressway which heads directly downtown. At rushhour times, this can be a 45 minute drive. If you can travel when it is not peak times, the trip is fast and direct.

Pace 290 bus stops on Touhy in front of the hotel. Cross the street and take the eastbound bus to the Howard terminal. Transfer to the Red Line southbound to the Loop. Red Line runs 24 hours, bus does not.
