We stayed for 2 weeks here and cannot reccommend this place enough the hotel is clean and the staff are FABULOUS. The only issue we had was with the adjacent pub/restaurant (Old bell), where service is extremely slow. So much so that guests where getting taxi's to other places to eat.

I stayed here for three nights to attend a course locally. It was comfortable, clean and very friendly. The staff were always helpful. However, despite having bought the premium wifi package, I was booked into a room without wifi. I attempted to get online for some time, established there wasn't a phone in the room to call reception, gave up...

It felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, and beware when arriving as no illuminated signage. Lovely hotel, super friendly staff and great adjoining restaurant/bar. Great nights sleep. Very nice breakfast. Would definitely return. I left my glasses in the room by mistake and the staff were excellent in getting them returned to me.

Nice location, convenient for the part of Reading I was visiting. Friendly staff, family room fitted us all nicely. Handy to have the restaurant next door but breakfast was a bit hit and miss in terms of speed/quality of the cooked items. Dinner was pricey but nice enough, staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, hotel was quiet. Fully...

This seems to be recently refurbished as everything was very fresh. Welcome was friendly and evening meal booked for pub few metres away. The room was spacious and there was a great walk in shower. As ever soap, shower gel was from dispensers on the wall. The towels were large and fluffy which was really nice. Room comes with large...

This hotel has recently been refurbished apparently but needs more work. The heating controls didn't work and the walls were so thin that I could not sleep due to the guy in the room next doors snoring! To be fair the hotel did refund the night fee but this did not leave me feeling any better with little sleep. Also...

These folk have got it just right - just what is needed for a convenient and comfortable night away in the area. Parking was plentiful. All staff were brilliant and welcoming. We were even taken by the fact that the housemaid greeted us and wished us a good day. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Just right...

As others have said, a bit remote but if you prefer to be in a quieter area this is for you. The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom and the bedding was of good quality. There was a good choice of items on both continental and cooked breakfast menus with staff ready to help and advise.

This was our first stay at a Premier Inn, and if the others are like this it will not be the last. The room was spotless and silent, what more could you ask. The only negative was no AC, but a large fan was supplied. Love the location, away from everything.
