Pedrito Hostal was the best casa we stayed in in Cuba. The rooms and common areas were homely and comfortable. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Mariela and Mireila prepared amazing and varied meals and cocktails - so much so that we ate all our breakfasts and dinners at the hostel. Because the hostel provides free bicycles...

We stayed at Pedrito's for a week in May of 2016. I can't say enough about this lovely home and the wonderful people there. Alain and his family are fantastic! We had a number of meals there while we stayed and they were all excellent and very inexpensive. Everything was very clean, the room was great and the bed very...

The first Casa we stayed in and the perfect place to arrive. Its a bit hard to find in your own car, but we had help of the owner of the Pizza-shop on the "main" road. The place is great, the courtyard with fountain and big Mango tree is very tranquil and peaceful. The breakfast was great and a good...

The is probably one of the best casa particulars in Cuba. The house is spotless. The rooms are great. The food is good. The staff is very pleasant and helpful and speak English. The only problem is its location in Santa Marta. The hotel will pay your taxi into Varadero but you have to pay to get back. Depending on...

We stayed at the wonderful Pedrito Hostal for 2 nights, after our arrival and before our departure, while cycle touring through Cuba. Alain and family were very gracious hosts. They offered wonderful breakfasts and dinners, and clean, comfortable rooms. They stored our bike boxes while we explored Cuba, and they arranged taxi service for us to the airport. We enjoyed...

Once again, I've returned to this great area for the sun & golfing. Staying at Pedrito's is the only way to go. A great family run business with my big sister Arzyelis looking after me each day. The rooms are super clean, from what I've taught Jr. Chef Dyleen, the food is even better (but still at a reasonable price),...

“We had rooms 3 and 4, twin and double. The twin was larger and had a more silent Panasonic air conditioner than the double. It is only a 5 or 10 minute drive to Varadero, but we found it difficult to find the hostal when we first arrived. The easiest thing is to go up to the point where the roads from Matanzas and from Cárdenas to Varadero meet (if you go too far, it is easy to turn back from Varadero). Then, coming from Varadero, where it forks left for Cárdenas and right for Matanzas, take the left to Matanzas. Skip the next turn to the right, but when you see the sign for Matanzas and Santa Marta, take the right to Santa Marta. You are on the main road of Santa Marta. Keep going for a Km or two. You will see a large blue building on your left, then on your right you will see a small sign that says "Fregado de Autos" (car wash) and then one that says "Churros rellenos y Pan con Lechon" followed by a little open cafe on the corner. Turn right there and you will see a small sign for Hostal Pedrito on your first left.”
