There is a well organized shared kitchen that makes this place a good choice for families catering by their own. But the room I had was not clean and the price is excessive. They don't provide any breakfast. Looks much more like a hostel than like a guesthouse.

I would definitely say that I’ve never slept in a room this small before: my husband and I couldn’t keep our luggages open simultaneously, though they were not big. Moreover, one of the two mattress protectors was stained and we’ve been bound to sleep together on the other, cleaner bed. The rest of the structure was not bad.

This guesthouse exceeded our expectations. We booked it because it is close to the ferry terminal. The room was comfortable and cosy and the shared bathrooms were reasonably clean. There is a lovely lounge area with a beautiful outlook and the communal kitchen has all basic supplies. Bringing your own food to cook is a good option for this guesthouse.

The place is in an old farmhouse with a purpose built addition. It is clean and cozy while somewhat primitive. The rooms are of various sizes. Cooking facilities are in the old kitchen from the farmhouse and is quite tired. Location is close to the ferry. The view is very nice and there is a short drive to the magnificent scenery in the area. One hour drive to Latrabjarg and Arnarfjordur.

It is close to the ferry and surrounded by an amazing nature. The beach is wonderful and the people very nice. The rooms are small but it is totally okay. I did not expect more. The bathrooms are not very modern but clean. There is a lot of space to sit around the house. You can cook in the guest-kitchen or have a barbecue outside. There is one roome with a couch and a TV for the guests. The breakfast was nothing special.
