Of the 6 hotels & B&Bs my husband and I stayed at during our road trip around four European countries, Biest-Stro was my favorite! Henk was extremely welcoming, very personable and easy to chat to, always available (even in the middle of the night!) for any problems - and also, to our surprise, one of the town historians regarding what...

The B&B itself, very comfortable, clean and we felt totally at home and relaxed. Henk and his wife are very accommodating and very willing to give us lifts to variou places. Hello travelers! What to say? Great host, great place. Quite, clean, comfortable. Only 6 km - 25 minutes by bike to center of Amsterdam. To recommend. To come back. Don't worry about this 6 km. If you are not enjoying loud environment as it is in Amsterdam, it is far better to be this 6 km away and to enjoy...

We couldn't have stumbled across a more perfect retreat. The room was large, clean, bright and with stunning views across the surrounding countryside. The hosts were without fault, being very kind and thoughtful. Even providing us with bicycles and information in English, to explore the local area. Breakfast was well prepared and presented, with more food than you could eat,...
