The stay could have been much better if the folks in the office would just enjoy, or act like they enjoy, working/being there. Going camping is supposed to be fun and the people working there should at least try to provide a decent experience for their customers. Pull-through sites up front are pretty tight and most have white rock from...

Arrived here to meet family members we hadn't seen in a long time. The place is run by two ladies were are like drill sergeants. I did read before I went but I didn't book this park so didn';t have much say about it. The park is nice, but they put us in the back and there were plenty of...

I have never been to this campground. When I called to make reservations the older lady that I tried to talk to was having a hard time hearing me and I was also. I told her that I had two adults and 3 children, one that was one year old. This lady kept hanging up on me and finally when...

Really like this campground! Big sites and beautiful grounds. I highly recommend Hickory Hollow. The location near 3 state parks is great. Utica is a neat town with lots of good restaurants and shops.

This is a large campground with good sized RV sites and beautiful tenting sites. It is close to Starved Rock State Park (which is a must see) and two others. Also, close to SkyDive Chicago so you can finally check that bucket-listed parachute jump off your list!

We were fortunate to find this delightful and clean RV park just off I-80. Friendly folks, running a nice secluded park with a pool, wide open sites, good services, and a needed rest from the road. This will be on our favorite list for cross country trips, or a good staging spot for Chicago area.

Very nice campground. Close to interstate for easy access. Grounds are kept very neat and clean. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Campground has a pool and laundromat. Sites are huge and they have plenty of pull through sites. Accommodates 45 foot rigs.

A great stop from Michigan. We had a wedding and decided to camp instead of staying at Grizzly Jacks. Campground is beautifully maintained. Lots of grass and mature trees. There is a playground and a pool which we did not take advantage of this trip. I would definitely stay here again.

Employees very professional, quick easy registration. Nice very large pull thru sites for big rigs. There is a pool, however we didn't use it. It takes Passport America members! Great rate. Worried about reviews, but we didn't have any issues ..they were very accomidating and we will definately stay here again.

The owners were friendly and check in was a breeze. The road in and out was easy to navigate. The campground is just off of I-80 so it is a popular place for overnight stays. There is road noise, it is much louder in the front of the park. We stayed in the back and it wasn't so bad. Large...

“The cabins are tiny, I would not put more than 3 people in them and bring plenty of blankets to cover the windows and prevent light from coming in. If it was possible, I would say bring your own mattress so you do not have to sleep on the very uncomfortable mattress they provide.”
