Horrible service, mice in the room, do not recommend! My friend and I booked this hotel and the only nice thing I have to say is that it was super close to the Tunnel Hill trailhead, but there are other hotels close enough. The room was fine enough, but the first night we were there I thought there was mouse poop on the nightstand. I brushed it off thinking it must be something else. The 2nd night we got back to the room and were watching TV when we noticed there were MULTIPLE mice running around in the room while we were sitting there! I called the desk and the woman who answered was NOT surprised. She offered no help when i asked and said to just kick them out under the door. I asked if we could change rooms and she said "Its the same anywhere" so we packed up and left. I asked for a refund for that night and the following, she said OK, but later I realized she only refunded one night. I have been trying to call for a week and left multiple messages for the manager to call me back, and they refuse to refund the 2nd night saying we left after checkout time, even though they wouldnt switch our room due to actual vermin running like they own the place. The owner won't call me back. Everytime I call he is "out" and they will not share his contact info, and he refuses to call back. Horrible contact info. Also as a woman I would not feel safe staying here alone, but that was the least of my worries after seeing the mice. Oh also the staff was never in masks and when we checked in the woman who checked us in went on and on about how stupid all this "Covid" stuff was

My husband and I stayed here while visiting the Cache River Wetlands and biking the Tunnel Hill Trail. They let us keep the bikes in our room which was great. Great location to access both Cache River and Shawnee hiking trails. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. We booked directly thru the hotel website.

For $60 at the last minute I have zero complaints. The staff was super friendly and courteous, the AC worked great, the room was clean and stocked with everything we needed. They are renovating but it's nothing you will hear or have in your way. For the people complaining about breakfast items during a pandemic: It's $60. Go next door to McDonalds if packaged pastries aren't sufficient enough for you.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. It was truly a house of horror. It was the filthiest place I have ever seen. The first room we were given we walked in to find random potato chips on the various surface areas indicating they had not even been wiped down. The bedding had huge brown blotches of stains on it. Then I looked in the bathroom and found a yellowish ooze in the tub, which obviously also had not been cleaned. Please avoid this health and safety hazard!
