What an amazing private residence to hire for a weekend - 18 people including children stayed and had a fantastic break. Everything is catered for - attention to detail impeccable - even hairdryer and straighteners in every room! Ideally located for Conwy, Llandudno & Swallow Falls and the views are just out of this world. Sat in a hot tub,...

18 of us descended on this glorious place. Fabulous views in a thoughtfully and sympathetically restored country house with every possible modern gadget available. Considerable care and attention by the owners made this a relaxing and enjoyable weekend stay. Our large welcome hamper was typical of their considerate preparation. Our local chef (Bryn and staff from a "Piece of Cake")...

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely country house, no longer a B&B, but a large holiday home. The house is beautiful. It has been completely renovated, very tastefully furnished and is really comfortable. Just as impressive, if not more so, are the stunning views of Snowdonia and the Conwy estuary. We were here in January and spent far...

This was our first, but certainly not our last visit to The Old Rectory. The country house is in an absolutely stunning location, with spectacular elevated views across the Conwy Valley towards both Snowdonia and Conwy Castle. The rooms are fabulous, ours had a very comfortable four poster and a large en suite. The period furniture and furnishings throughout the...

Stayed at this beautiful house for the first time, the rooms are beautiful with superb views of the conwy estuary. Breakfasts are full and hearty which is just what you need to set you up for a good days trekking across Snowdonia. Will recommend to all my friends.

We stayed in a number of places while we were in England and Wales. All were excellent, but this was the best. There were uninterrupted views of Snowdonia and Conwy castle. The garden was well tended. The house was charming with interesting paintings and furniture. The food was excellent (even had kippers). The room was more like a suite. The...

This was the second time we had stopped at the Old Rectory, and once again weren't disappointed with the setting, room and fantastic views down the Conwy estuary. This is truly a hidden gem in North Wales. Michael and Wendy are lovely hosts, the house and rooms retain a nice historical touch, immaculate in every respect. This isn't like staying...
