We stayed in an Expansion Room and it was wonderful. Exactly what we were looking for, quiet, comfortable and convenient to everything. We walked everywhere we went, you can't beat the location. The staff were all very nice. We did not eat any of the breakfast, one reason we were there was to sleep in. Parking was easy. I would...

We spent only one night, and I would describe it as quaint. The rooms were fairly good sized, though there was a lot of variability. My brother was also staying the same night, and his room was noticeably smaller. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was really, really soft, which I did not like. Breakfast was mediocre at...

Spent a weekend in Bloomington and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Large room with a desk, comfy chair and small fridge in one of the annexes. Have to say my room at the Showers Inn several years ago was more "charming" but much smaller. Breakfast was fabulous -gourmet items that were different both days. Location very close to Kirkwood (which could...

This B&B is a large, older home and attached property of 20+ units. Each room/suite is unique and comfortable. We occupied a good portion of the property for wedding guests. Everyone was pleased with the facilities and service. The breakfast was of excellent, fresh quality and diversity providing a good selection of hot dishes, fruit, cereal and pastries. Moreover, the...

This is a fantastic place to stay. Very quaint and historic. The breakfast is also very good. Every room is different but has everything you need (comfy bed, tv, bathroom). It is centrally located and close to everything in downtown Bloomington. We walked everywhere. My only complaint is if you are staying on a first floor room near the street...

Bloomington, being a university town, is a busy, bustling kind of place. This B&B was an oasis of calm. The staff were charming and welcoming and I felt right at home. My room on the ground floor was lovely and the bed and pillows were the sink-in-and-sleep kind. (Just beware the sharp corners of the bed frame as I got...

while visiting Indiana University. I only stayed one night but enjoyed a fairly large room with private bath and fireplace. This is a charming bed and breakfast inn, located 2 short blocks from the main street, Kirkwood. They provide complimentary newspapers and serve a nice breakfast. I noticed that they made eggs to order for some of the guests. The...

Years ago this was our first B&B experience only because we could not find a hotel room available in Bloomington. We returned again for a mini vacation this week and found the Grant St. Inn to be just as lovely as our first stay. Cannot say enough about the beautiful and comfortable rooms. This is what a B&B should be...

I stayed in Grant street inn for one week and I had the best time. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the breakfast was yummy and the Chef bakes fresh cookies/brownies everyday and leaves them in the reception for the guests to divulge in. The only drawback is that they have no lifts so you will need to carry all your...

This was our first visit to the Grant Street Inn and we will return on our next trip to Bloomington. It is an interesting hybrid.....B&B features and feel but a size and multi-building configuration that makes it feel like a small hotel also. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. There was a decent workout room....a must for me....
