The Inn is full of history with many original furniture items still there. Including the original plumbing! Anna was our host and she was so very thoughtful and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious. We would definitely stay here again. The gardens are being renovated right now but will be completed by Mother's Day. Location is great for walking to so many...

Our third visit to this wonderful B and B! We have stayed in 3 different rooms and they have all been fantastic! The best part though is the service. They treat you like you are the only people there! The breakfast is five star!

Love this hotel, you feel like you are staying at grandmas where you get pampered and cared for! Good food nearby and shopping. Staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely there to meet your needs. Love the history about the place. Gardens are whimsical.

A wonderfully preserved B&B in Columbus. Childhood home of j Irwin Miller, visionary industrialist who inspired the surprising emergence of contemporary architecture in Columbus. A good man and a wonderful story, and this inn is remarkably preserved with furnishings and ambience so you have a very real sense of life in early 1900's . Sara the innkeeper will take great...

Step into your time machine and travel back to rare moment in American history, exquisitely preserved and maintained. As a bed and breakfast this works beautifully and delivers what most only hint at. Period decorations, fixtures and furnishings are impeccable. The gardens are under reconstruction, but hold much promise. Highly recommended.

Aside from being centrally located and an easy walk to restaurants and architecturally significant locations, the Inn at Irwin Gardens is absolutely beautiful. It is full of Edwardian decor and antiques, and is visually stunning. We visited in early November, so the gardens weren't as lovely as I am sure they are all summer. Even so, the gardens' design is...

My boyfriend and I stopped by as part of the walking tour it it was late in the day. We came back the following day when the gardens were open to the public and I'm so glad we did. It was lovely, even with many of the plants not blooming due to the time of year. I would love to...

We did not realize the many connecting threads that were woven into our visit to this lovely place: easy walking to restaurants and downtown architectural sites; the former home of the family that helped put this small town on the US and worldwide modern architectural map; the change facilitator for the man who accomplished transition from a stationary Diesel engine...

We had a chance to see the gardens which are open to the public on Tuesdays and Sundays from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. The Italianate style gardens were inspired by the excavation of Pompeii, Italy. They were completed in 1913 as an adjunct to the Irwin House, the home of businessman Joseph Irwin. The house has since been converted to...

The home now an Inn was last renovated in 1910 and is a fine a specimen of a Victorian movie set as I have seen. The wooden paneling and detail are nicer than those we saw in most of our recent travels. The decor is beautiful and nice enough we will stay at the Inn on our next jaunt north....
