This facility was allegedly under renovation for the last few years. There were no signs of improvements. The room carpet was stained. The bathtub was stained. We had to wait over five minutes for the front desk clerk to show up for check-in. This is a very substandard La Quinta.
Sad, out of date hotel with gruff staff who are not professional at all. NO ONE wore masks even though some of the people who came into the lobby were clearly not healthy; even appearing homeless. We were originally told to request a crib upon check in and then told the hotel does not have cribs. This place looked like a breeding ground for the Covid and Delta viruses. We wore our N-95 masks almost the entire time we were there. No hot water for shower. We paid $93 +change for this awful place. So we cancelled our return stay and went to the TownPlace Suites where we got a completely different experience for just $10 more.
The hotel looks like the exterior was updated but the interior hasn't been touched in decades. The room was absolutely disgusting. Soiled carpet, soiled chair, stains on the sheets, sink wouldn't drain. Checked out immediately yet still charged for one night.
Carpet was dirty in room. Phone didn’t work. Ironing board was missing. I attempted to get replacement towels and was told that there was a towel shortage. Really bad look for this specific location. Will not stay there again.
I chose this place because it was described as close to the airport and had a shuttle service. It was also available when most of the other places were full. I thought I would give it a chance even despite the negative reviews. That was a huge mistake. I arrived late at night at the airport, around 23:30, and went out to wait for the shuttle. It never showed up. I booked it when I booked the room, but they just didn't send it. So I got an Uber to the place, an extra $16, it was pretty far from the airport, definitely not walkable, so kind of weird to call it an "Airport Hotel", the only thing "Airport" about it is that it happens to be in the same city. When I arrived at the place I asked about the shuttle, the glum humourless receptionist said I should have called. Why didn't they inform me of that while booking? It doesn't work like that at other places I have stayed, the shuttle just shows up. The next day it was the same issue. I told them I wanted a shuttle to the airport and they didn't call it. I don't know why they say they offer a free shuttle service if they don't actually offer it / it doesn't work. As for the place, it is falling down, the rooms smell of smoke, everything is covered in stains, the carpet is basically a combination bio- and trip hazard. The staff is not overtly rude, they did not outright insult me, but they were unhelpful. Avoid this place, and if you can't avoid it, lower your expectations to avoid too much disappointment.…
