If only views matter, I would give this place a 4.5 stars, but other things matter too. Views/surroundings: As I mentioned earlier, views are awesome, especially from the Lascaux cottage and the one above it. You get the full valley/mountain view. If you get up early in the morning, you may witness some mist in the surroundings too. Surroundings are...

At the foot hills of Edakal cave hills is an enthralling wild piece of land with a few cottages clinging on to the rock edges with an amazing view of valleys of the western...

A Curate's Egg - partly good, partly bad The 'partly good' bits included dealing with the resort before we arrived in Kerala, which was very efficient. The cottage itself (Lescaux) had amazing views from the balcony, with spectacular sunsets and wildlife surrounding it. It had a very comfy bed and a fantastic bathroom, with the rock face actually within the...

We stayed at Edakkal unit in this Hermitage Resort on 7&8 December. Very nice stay with jungle surroundings. Our room was facing sunset, so just imagine the superb view. The resort staf Uben and one more guy were extremely helpful. One should not miss the candle light dinner which we enjoyed the most. The dinner was simply awesome..👍👍👍

One of the unconventional places right in the middle of nature.. The views were stunning from the cottages towards the front.. The rooms are average.. The food was surprisingly good.. Do not expect much from this place.. One of the places to visit with friends only.. Do care to visit this place only when it rains.. The experience is just...

7 neatly appointed cottages named after the cave dwellings from all over the world offer quiet and calm stay with great views of Wayanad hills and green surroundings. Staff is non intrusive but provide good service and good food. Highlight of the stay was to have excellent and exclusive dinner in a natural cave lit with over 120 candles. Truly...
