I have traveled all over the world. I am certain that I have not found a cleaner hotel. This place is spotless. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This is a great place to enjoy quality family time. A nice pool and a a great lobby for playing games.

Every fall for the past few years, we come to the Essenhaus Inn for a couple of nights. We just returned from our trip this year. It is one of the most pleasant places to stay. It is so quiet there and peaceful. We can't wait to arrive and relax. We all sleep so well there. I can't recommend this...

Essenhaus is such a comfortable place. If you're from the Midwest and you're visiting here, you will immediately feel at home in this hotel. There are a few shops located on the premises where you can buy some Amish goods and other things. There is also an Amish restaurant (excellent food) and bakery in in the same area as well....

The rooms were very clean, the "greeting cookies" are all fresh made right there. There is wonderful restaurant next door that is part of the complex. People are friendly and courteous. During the summer months there is a antique car show every Thursday evening. Lots of shops and conveniently located to many Amish establishments for cheese and pastries! The rooms...

This is a beautiful hotel with an Amish restaurant, bakery and shops on the property. Classy, elegant, beautiful, peaceful - we stay here several times each year and have never had a bad experience. It is in the heart of Indiana Amish country - lots to see and do.

This hotel is very clean and usually very quiet. They have free coffee and cookies in the lobby every day. Their are two lobby areas and the one in the older section also has tea and hot chocolate available to guests. The breakfast in the mornings has some good pastries that are made at the Essenhaus bakery. The hotel doesn't...

Traveled to the Amish Country for an overnight get away with the husband. Sight seeing, shopping and experiencing good, home-cooked food. Shopping can be found in the local towns of Middlebury, Shipshewana and also down in Nappanee. Side roads are almost all Amish farms and its very pretty in the area.

This is a beautiful property. We stayed for a week 8/15/2015-8/22/2015 we had the standard queen room. The room was spacious, there were two queen beds and we had plenty of room to move around. The tub/shower combo was standard but, the water pressure in the shower was FANTASTIC. The property and everything associated with the property was clean and...
