This lovely old pub by the river is an institution. There's masses of parking and lots of room inside and out for a drink or food. We were there for lunch on a Thursday and the place was bustling. We ordered 2 platters of cheese and cold cuts with pickled onions, chutney, pickles and Turkish bread between the 3 of...

Our meals were well cooked, arrived quickly and tasted delicious, the serving size was huge I struggled to finish my meal. We chose to dine inside as the seats were more comfortable than the available bench seats outside. We also decided to arrive there at 11.30 and we ordered our meal straight away, which we were so glad we did,as...

Hadn't been here for maybe 40 years and went for the blues and roots show. A great venue with the beer garden and the outlook over the river only adds to the setting. An old school pub but plenty of charm.

We were undecided on where to go for lunch so we just kept driving and then we came across the Ravenswood Hotel and thought we'd eat there for something different. Very good atmosphere, our 3 year old liked the playground that was there also. 2 adults, 2 kids we had 4 meals plus a side of onion rings, 4 drinks...

Lovely setting, inside dining, you can have a choice of the main area or quiet small areas. Outside a lot of tables next to the Murray river. Place is full of history, Staff are friendly and attentive. Food delicious and great atmosphere, mix of families and hen dos but there's so much space you can keep the two separate without...

Midweek dinner for 4 hungry blokes. We motored up and tied the boat to the dock right alongside and came in for a feed. Not a bad place - the dockside deck had live music and the food and wine prices were very reasonable. All the food choices we had were generously sized. inexpensive, tasty and filling. Porterhouse and T-bone...

We visited just after New Year, group of 5, the outdoor area has recently been upgraded and caters for a large crowd but the food takes a nose dive with so many meals to serve. 3 of our party had salad and it was limp and undressed. Fish was average, Caesar salad was below average, pizza was good, seafood basket...

On our way to Perth from Bunbury, my wife and I had some time to waste so pulled off the freeway and drove over to the Ravenswood Hotel. (5 Mins.) for lunch. First time there but not the last! Huge dining area broken into more intimate areas. Fantastic outside area and panoramic views of the Murray River. Food was good...

Summer has arrived so we hopped onto our boat and headed for the Ravo. It's been done up outside with netting to keep the birds away and we found a nice spot to spend a couple of hours and have lunch. What's happened!! The usual extensive blackboard menu is no longer and has been replaced by a much smaller menu....

Sorry for your experience here on Saturday, the menu is actually as large as our winter menu with black board specials daily. The reason for the plastic was we had a music festival and with people dancing and kids outside our duty of care to patrons we decided to go with the safer option, we normally do have cold glasses....
