Fir River Ranch B&B came to life in 2007 with a passionate Journeyman Chef, Audrey and her spouse, Perrie, an experienced Wildlife Guide and native to the area. Perrie sadly passed away in August 2017 but continues to inspire the life at Fir River Ranch every single day. Choosing to stay at Fir River Ranch is being part of the Country Spirit. Whether you are sledding, hunting or visiting Hudson Bay for work or leisure, you are at exactly the right place.
What an excellent experience at Audrey's; she makes you feel right at home! Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Privacy guaranteed! The breakfasts were great, plus I was able to choose the optional lunches and dinners! And the portions? WOW. The inly time I would consider another location is if there was no room available the next time I have to come in for the plant shutdown. I hope I wont have to deal with that, as I'm sure it will be a huge letdown for me. Beautiful location, great place and excellent food. Thanks for everything Audrey!

Great place to stay. Very clean and great food! Beds were made for me and my co-workers everyday. Hot tub was maintained well. Bathrooms were clean, cabins were warm and clean. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Hudson Bay.

We are a group of bikers from Moose Jaw an Gravelbourg , Saskatchewan . We definitely recommend this place for a awesome relaxing time and the breakfast is to die for all the homemade breakfast and very delicious and you definitely don’t leave hungry . The taxi driver to the local bar/restaurant provides a really cool experience. There’s so much to things to see around the property to keep entertained. We definitely recommend this place !!!

Our family spent Easter Weekend at Fir River Ranch and had a wonderful time. Audrey and her team are amazing hosts - the food was delicious, cabin warm and inviting and the freedom to interact with her horses was wonderful. We highly recommend visiting!

We had a party of 9 on a snowmobiling vacation at The Fir River Ranch Bed and Breakfast during the last week of Feb. My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B before but I cannot see how this B&B could be beat. The entire basement of a huge house was fantastic for the 9 of us. All 4 couples had an amazing homey room with fantastic beds and the single person in our party had his own room as well. So comfortable!!! We had our own living space with plush leather chairs and couches and loveseats to accommodate all of us. We had a full washroom downstairs with us and always access to the washrooms upstairs. Our hostess was Audrey, is a Red Seal cook who always had fresh from scratch baking all day on the island in her kitchen, fruit , pastries , cookies, treats of all kinds. We asked her to make us 2 of our 4 meals we had in the evening. She made us chicken cordon blue and all the fixins one night and fireside steak with all the fixins for our second meal. . I have never had such delicious 4 coarse meals as she prepared for us. We ate 2 of our evening meals Hudson Bay at Audrey's request to support the local restaurants. She wanted to help her community and due to the size of our party we were happy to ablige. We ate at the2 restaurants which were both very good but were happy to get back to the comforts of Fir River Ranch after. Fir River has a huge 12 bed cabin ,open concept as well as a couple of smaller cabins for less people. The volunteers that help Audry also have their own living quarters cabin in which they all have their own rooms. Audrey"s son Curtis also st ays with the volunteers in that cabin. Curtis was fantastic . He blew the snow off the snowmobiles in the mornings, got us a speaker to pair our phones to so we could listen to our music while sitting in either of the 2 hot tubs on the property as well as delivered the drinks our husbands made for us. We were spoiled rotten. The volunteers are from all over the world. They stay for room and board while they work for Audrey. They assist with the cooking as well as clean all the guest quarters . Apparently there is a website to go on to set up these plans. Audrey has several horses to pull a snow cart in the winter and a wheeled cart in the summer. In the winter there are fantastic trails to follow via a map and double as quad trails in the spring , summer and fall. Beautiful area with wonderful scenery.…

Had the most amazing night at the Fir River Ranch. Spent a couple hours in the outdoor hot tub, and the bed was comfy. Everything was very clean. Audrey and the staff were extremely friendly! Breakfast in the morning was delicious and we got to see the horses from the window while we ate.

This was our second stay at FRR. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. You barely have to lift a finger. Audry cooks amazing meals and there are plenty of deserts, fruit, and homemade items. Coffee is always on 24 hours a day. The accommodations are spotless and clean with plenty of room for your gear and the grounds are no different. Two thumbs up!

We had a group of 11 ladies and our horses descend upon the ranch for a weekend and Audrey and her staff we so amazing and accommodating. We felt welcome and right at home. Loved the cabins, hot tub and shower house. And the cooking was fantastic... great food and plenty of it. We rode our horses in the trails around Hudson Bay and there is so much to enjoy in and around the ranch. Highly recommend it

Audrey is so kind and welcoming, she treats all of her guest like family. A true home away from home. I highly recommend the for river ranch, they have it all, not to mention super delicious home cooked meals with a lot sourced from her garden. Audrey even catered to my food intolerances and made me special meals. Will be back again and again

Horses eating from the front door - fun Deer walking thru the yard - amazing Dogs - happy and friendly Bathroom - well supplied Wifi - available. What else???? I could go on and on but need to get to work. God Bless you Audrey for your work with people. Holding you close. Debbie and Bill Glacier Park Bed and Breakfast Saskatoon
