Excellent location and dog friendly. Beach is at a campground so you have access to washrooms, rinse off showers, was very clean. Beach is great for swimming and finding sea creatures, clear water, we love Red Point! Great for families as well, free.

I would have given it 4.5 if possible. Although the campo g sites are open field, there is very generous room and the view of the ocean is beautiful. Came on a long weekend and it wasn’t too noisy at night. The beach is a little tough to access because of the stairs. I would come again in a heartbeat.

Was on a family road trip, stayed here for 2 nights. Campsite 21 is the best! When you first pull in it looks like a place with huge camper rigs and you fear that you'll be with people watching TV instead of the sunset. However, with the campsites we had, there was nothing but ocean in front of us. Section A is for tents and smaller rigs and the crowd much more of our scene. Not too far from bathrooms and showers. Great beach to wander around on/in

Really enjoyed this beach. You can park in front of the metal steps that lead down to the beach. The beach has beautiful white sand and lifeguards.

I found that there was a lot of seaweed on the shore and in the water. Which is different than Basin Head which is just up the road. The nice thing about this beach is there wasn’t the crowd like Basin Head.

We camped for two nights at this provincial park. The sites roomy and ours had a 3 way hookup. Most sites have a view of the ocean. Very well maintained campground and extremely friendly park staff. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. PEI is just beautiful!

Checked in to the overflow site with our tent, after hours; lots of space and very accomodating! Beautiful oceanview, amazing sandy beach, clean bathrooms, laundering and shower facilities. A few playgrounds and planned daily activities for kids (I had a teenager and a 8-yr old). I loved the clean spacious grassy areas; after travelling from Ontario and touring around N.S it gave room for my girls to move around without disturbing other campers. Was a good distance from the main road and towns so as not to be disturbed by traffic. Was very windy on our 2-night stay as expected from an oceanfront, but we all slept well! Beach is wonderful!! Only issue, if anything, was that the wifi password they give you on check-in can only work on ONE device and signal was weak in our area— small thing since our days and early evenings were pretty busy with activities. I would stay again!

This park was very easy to find once you get out of New Brunswick and on to Prince Edward Island.

If you're wanting a campground, campsite, where you wake up to an ocean view, go to sleep with the sound of the ocean and the waves crashing, then this is where you would like to be.

Though the washrooms are small it is okay as it is not an overly huge Campground. Lots for everyone with children, without children, even with teenagers.

The only downfall is the grade that the park sits on. All the campsites are on a hill so if you are going with a trailer make sure you bring extra leveling material.

Other than some minor things, we will definitely be going back again only this time, we will take an unserviced site so we can be right at the oceans edge.

First picture is of the gorgeous moon coming up over the ocean. The second picture was the view from our trailer in the morning.

With so much to do on PEI, there's so many places to stay, I would definitely recommend this place if you would like something small, simple, and beautiful.

We love this campground, and it was our third visit.
Cannot beat the views, the water, or the breeze. So nice to be so close to the ocean! The park is well staffed, and well kept.
Not much to "do" but relax and enjoy.
We will definitely be back.

This campground offers one of the best beaches on PEI. Great location and facilities. The laundry room is some what small and does not have enough machines in the busy season but we got our laundry done. The grounds are great and clean. The bathroom/shower buildings needed more cleaning and some repairs, however we will definitely return here next year for 1 or 2 weeks of camping.

Super place to camp and nice view of the beach.
Facilities are clean and well maintained. Would certainly go back again and again.
Price to camp is reasonable and well worth the beautiful scenery in this location.
