We stayed here on an anniversary trip for two. We were absolutely please. Quick check-in. Cookies at the front desk. Clean room. We had a Jacuzzi room with a large two person tub. More than enough room for even two larger people. Slept wonderfully and the pillows and linens contributed to that. USB type charging station on the night stand....

Very clean, super comfortable bed. We have stayed here before and will stay again, breakfast was great, but no one seemed to be keeping things refilled and some stuff was almost gone. The desk had to be notified as no one was watching, so management needs some one to keep up on this.

My husband was traveling for a Furniture Expo in the area and we spent one night at the Van Buren Hotel in Shipshewana. From our first phone call to reserve a room, to the time we checked-out, the Hotel staff were very helpful and kind. They went out of their way to meet our needs! Felt like we were "at...

Thank you so much for your kind words, we so appreciate hearing from our guest and how they view our hotel. We pride ourselves in providing a "home away from home" atmosphere, and of course our staff try very hard to go above and beyond to provide that. We are happy you enjoyed our breakfast, we try and provide a...

Everything about my night at the Van Buren was wonderful! The room was fresh and clean. The entire hotel is NON SMOKING, which is very important to me due to health issues. The bed was comfortable. Numerous cable channels offered a variety of entertainment. The room was so nice, and with having a fridge and microwave I never made it...

We stayed overnight here to celebrate my mom's birthday. We did the same stay two years ago. We had four rooms and all of the family felt it was an excellent stay. Extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable. We wouldn't stay any other place in the area other than The Van Buren.

Quite, comfortable, friendly, clean, everything you would want to get a good nights sleep. What more could you want. You might want bike the Pumpkinvine Trail, very scenic, lots of farms with lots of horses. Stop in at E&S sales for some great grocery bargains.

Pulling in to this fantastic getaway the hotel was very inviting. The addition to the front entrance was a blessing as it was snowing when we arrived. When we walked in we were greeted by a large beautiful Christmas tree and an oh so sweet desk clerk. We were quickly checked in and in our room to rest after a...

This was my second stay at the Van Buren and I highly recommend it. I appreciate the fact that they don't allow pets in the room so I don't have to listen the dogs barking or walk into a room that smells like a dog's been in there. The rooms are extremely clean, roomy and very quiet. Breakfast is your...

On the positives: A bit less expensive than some other options in the area, friendly staff, quiet and clean during our stay, and the general no pet policy is helpful for those of us with allergies. Not as great: The breakfast is average and the exercise room is spartan (one treadmill, one bike, one hand weight for the entire place).

Our stays all started with a very friendly greeting. The rooms were very clean and roomy. The hotel was located close to all of the shopping and a lot of the restaraunts. They have a great breakfast in the morning with a great selection to choose from. Check out was easy and fast. We will continue to stay on future trips.
