We visit family in Iowa and Nebraska almost every summer. There aren't many places to stay in the small towns -- and this year we decided to try out The Inn at Battle Creek. We'd never been to a bed and breakfast before. The house was incredible, and the owners were even better! We had an incredible trip down memory...

Our wine club had it's monthly meeting at the Inn at Battle Creek on Sunday, February 14. The dinner was excellent (different cuts of steak, tilapia, or chicken with baked potato, corn casserole, green beans, lettuce salad and roll), the service was perfect, and everyone enjoyed themselves. We had never stayed at a B&B so decided to cross that off...

I recently spent 3 nights at the Inn at Battle Creek during a trip for family business. There aren't a lot of lodging choices in that part of NW Iowa, so I was delighted to learn that Lynne and Neil Bjorholm have reopened the inn as a bed and breakfast. (It had been closed for a couple of years, I...

My family fell in love with the Inn as soon as we stepped inside. The wrap around porch and our gracious host, Lynn, made us feel so welcome. The dining area, bedrooms and bathrooms were so beautifully restored. Each bedroom is specially decorated and most important, the beds are really comfortable with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Breakfast was...

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the Inn in Battle Creek. The hostess and host were very welcoming, but also gave us our space. We had a delicious dinner at the Inn--worth the extra cost for that area, and you must try the cheesecake they make on site. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding. Our room was clean and...

Our family gave us a night's stay at this lovely bed & breakfast, and we are so glad that they did. The food is DELICIOUS! We highly recommend that you eat dinner there too, and not just breakfast. Laid-back hospitality in a beautiful setting!

Stayed here for one night on our way to Branson. Even though it was a little out of our way the experience was wonderful. The rooms are very quaint in this well preserved inn. If you are lucky enough to be there on a weekend, the dinners served in the dining room were wonderful! The cheesecake is to die for!...

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint beautiful old home. The breakfast was great. Room was small but cormfortable. Smal bathroom, but due to the nature of the house this was necessary to have the bathroom in the bedroom. Many beautiful antiques and enjoy the history of the home. Great breakfast. Wish we could have enjoyed one of the dinners...

We stayed one night on our vacation trip. We had a dinner at the Inn as well as stay the night. The meal was tasty and well cooked. Everything was very well executed and very professionally done. Room was clean and well decorated. I think we had the Inn to ourselves as it was a weekday night. The innkeepers were...

Four families, formerly from Iowa, now from Minneapolis, Chicago and New York City, meet every two years at the Inn. We are treated like royalty, eat like gourmets, sleep like pampered Victorians and enjoy each other's company catching up on the beautiful tree covered porch. Jeff and Nancy Decker know how to provide a resort experience in a tranquil, country...
