We went for a two day husky safari with the dogs and guides of this farm. It was fantastic being in the wild of Lapland. The landscape is incredible. Very friendly and experienced guides made this trip unforgettable. The husky farm looks very clean and dogs have enough space to play and rest after their hard work. They love the...

We arrived in Finn-Jaan Farm with me unwell after the flight. Timo, the wonderful and kind owner of the farm arrived to pick us up from our hotel and even though he runs a busy farm, accompanied us to the local hospital were he patiently waited until I had my medications. We arrived at the farm which was beautiful with...

Timo and his dogs give you one of the greatest days you will experience in Finland. A fantastic day travelling through the Finish countryside pulled along by a team of amazing dogs. Lunch prepared over a log fire was delicious and was just another plus to add to all the others. I cannot recommend this day to strongly. It could...

In Jan. 2014 I decided to do a complete different vacation as other years and I booked a trip to Finn-Jann Huskyfarm in Finland. I was very much looking forward to a lot of snow and the sled journeys. Little did I know I would end up in -30°C in an icy cold and snow filled Winter Wonderland :-) Because...

I wanted to do something different than skiing. Dog sledding thus... Great people, lovable dogs, plenty of food, surreal surroundings and an unforgettable experience! Got to go back some day to see the northern lights. I truly recommend Finn-Jann huskyfarm, but bring warm underware :-)

We booked a multi-active programme through Finn Jann's web site so we did not stay at the farm but at Hotel Iso Syote which provided the other two snow activities for the week. We only experienced the services of the Finn Jann Husky Farm for our training day and not the two day overnight safari. Finn Jann obviously has an...

We booked through KE Adventure, we had one day training day and then one overnight trip to a log cabin by a frozen lake. All the guides were great and knowledgable and the dogs were well looked after and happy. I had Leon, Salemo, Bill and Bull they were great and really looked after me as I had never done...

On my return trip to Finn Jann Husky Farm in Northern Finland, in March 2012, I travelled alone but you are never alone once you arrive at your destination. Your guides are helpful and friendly and the dogs love to meet visitors and get your attention. The safari out to the cabins is a wonderful experience and staying overnight in...

If you want to try something else, this is it! We've went for a one week safari and stayed in 2 different cabins with no electricity and running water. It is an experience of a lifetime which you won't regret. The sceneries are awesome, it was quiet and serene and like most people, you just want to bring some of...

“Ask for the Cabine, one is tiny, but so typical !!!!!”

“This is a wilderness holiday - you are allocated rooms to share if you are travelling alone but might get a room to yourself if there are an uneven number on the trip. In the log cabins, away from the farm, there are bunk beds in the one room cabin. All very rustic. The corporate world is far away.”

“If you stay overnight in the cabin. Dont put loads of wood in the log burner to early. Although the cabin was freezing when we arrived it quickly warms up and we ended up almost making the cabin into a sauna it became so warm.”
