We stayed 2 nights at the Fisher's B&B, it was a great stay, comfortable beds, beautiful house. They have a game room on the 1st floor that we took full advantage of with another couple we stayed with (Pool table, poker table). There was a guest kitchen on the 2nd floor that we took full advantage of as well. Bottled water in the fridge, coffee each morning and snacks on the counter. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom, so we didn't have to worry about waiting or sharing with others. The whole house was very well thought out for guests to stay and maximize their visit. I can't say enough about how comfortable and at home we all felt. Would definitely stay there again if ever visiting Clinton.
a group of four couples stayed one night and found the experience exceeded our expectations. All four rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities in each room. Dan and Peggy are gracious hosts and we enjoyed hearing the history of the home and their work rehabbing it into a B&B. We would recommend a stay here for anyone traveling to the Clinton, Fulton, Le Claire area. I believe they are only open on weekends, so plan accordingly. Breakfast was good, though we've stayed in other B&Bs with more food selections available. We will stay here again when our travels bring us to this area.
Everything that you are looking for in a B & B - great hosts, comfy beds, spotless and a very nice breakfast. The Fisher House is located near the Discovery Bike trail and the Mississippi River. A lovely place to include in your travels.
Place was newly remodeled and was great overall. The facility and hosts made it a great place to overnight on our cycling trip through the area. Rooms were above average in size and condition. Bathrooms in each room were above average. Good common areas, especially the front porch and living room to have a great time. There were 6 in our group, and all agreed it was a great place to stay.
Our hosts Dan and Peggy are so friendly and accommodating, providing a personalized welcome upon our late afternoon arrival. Their property has a convenient location and has been restored and updated to 21st century standards, while maintaining a 19th century ambience. We took them up on suggestions of what to see and do in the Clinton area, with the Candlelight Inn for dinner and Wide River Winery on the Mississippi, both quite worthwhile. We hope to return sooner than later !
