I knew upon checking in that it was a big mistake. First, I was told there would be an extra 100.00 deposit, then no breakfast at all- not even a grab and go bag. When entering the room I noticed that the carpet was filthy and the room smelled like a dirty gym locker room. I looked up the amenities listed just to confirm what I had booked, and yes, they were still listed. I tried to call the front desk to discuss and the phone was dead. When I looked at the phone it did not even have the correct room number listed. I was very concerned as to what may happen in the event of an emergency.. After this, I had enough, went downstairs, computer in hand with my screen up to show the amenities listed. I told the clerk that I could not stay there, especially since I had my elderly parents traveling with me. As I was talking to the clerk, children were screaming and running dripping wet from the pool through the lobby. Water was everywhere...once again a dangerous situation for my parents. I told the clerk that this was not acceptable and was too dangerous for me to stay in the facility with my parents . The one bright spot is that my reservation was canceled and I was not charged. I've never experienced such a poorly kept up establishment.…
Not the same experience as other country inn and suites I’ve answered all these questions so repeating it only take more of my time and I have other demands in my life besides repeating myself. Thank you for your time to send me this
This place is a hidden gem. I stayed here from Wednesday-Sunday while my power was out. The service is perfect and the King size bed was so comfy. The rooms are completely sound proof, so I got a ton of work done and slept like a baby. You can't beat this place for total value.
We came to Iowa because we wanted a leisurely get away. We had lots of options but chose this facility because of their poor and breakfast. But -- NO BREAKFAST. A paper sack with a banana and yogurt cup just doesn't cut it. We didn't stay any longer than necessary.
Our room was covered in bloody boogers all over the bedding/comforters. Absolutely disgusting. We were offered to pick up new sheets at the front desk. Really?! During a pandemic. “Welcome to our hotel, we’ve got a room full of biohazard waiting for you.” The air conditioner leaked buckets onto the floor. Under the bed skirts was willed with garbage. Disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE.
