This is an amazing property, so clean and refreshing. Great price for the beautiful accommodations. The staff Izzy at the front desk and Anthony in the restaurant and bar, were the best staffers I have met at any hotel, the made the stay wonderful. This Best Western Plus had easy access on and off the freeway. This BW Inn was a big property, well kept and very clean. Plenty of parking space. The room was beautiful. Clean and Comfy. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The Best Western Steeplegate in is by far the BEST place my husband and myself have stayed in for many years. Great staff, beautiful decor. Thank you Steeplegate.

I was with my dad traveling, and tried to make a reservation at the Country Inn and Suites and reached a sleepy, mean, arrogant, person who really didn't care if we stayed there at his hotel. I called the Best Western right off the highway and the front desk Lucas answered right away. He was wide awake, speedy and had a great positive attitude! We needed a room, and he was super fast and super nice! When we arrived, he had the details waiting for us and got us in our rooms super fast. Very helpful, respectful, professional, and anticipated everyone of our needs. Especially letting us know about the breakfast in the morning!!! The pool was open and clean looking. The lobby was spotless, and the rooms very clean for the age and condition of the building. The breakfast in the morning was definitely worth the stay and very filling. Deb the servery gal was very nice and helpful. Very sweet and genuinely happy to provide a great breakfast experience and great food! Next time I come through town, I definitely will stay at the Best Western no matter the room rate. My dad and I were so happy to spend our money at the the BW rather than the Country Inn. We used the fridge, pool, restaurant, and wifi, but they had a fitness center, laundry room (coin), and computer/printer area as well. We enjoyed the continental breakfast options. The pool was nice, but the hot tub was undergoing maintenance and one of the arcade games was down... We used the whirlpool in our room, but the dial for adjusting the intensity of the jets just didn't work at all. We enjoyed the cable and wifi, plus the beds and shower/bathroom were awesome and the room was amazingly large! We had two toilets plus three sinks with two showerheads in the whirlpool bath. We even went to the restaurant for dinner, the food was good but the staff was overworked because they were short-staffed.

The hotel rooms are severely out-dated and just have a sort of ick feeling. Things are hard to get clean with years of grime on bathroom baseboards. Carpet was stained and stiff. But biggest issue was that we booked 9 rooms for family gathering and we’re told they would be poolside and we ended up with several people on the 2nd floor and down hallways. If we had known they wouldn’t honor our poolside room requests, we would have booked elsewhere. We won’t be bringing our party back.

Room was clean, employees were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was perfect. Pool was a pleasant swim. Bed was very comfortable. Got a room right next to the courtyard and was an easy access to the lobby and pool and lounge and restaurant.

This is a great place for hotshot truckers as well as everyone else. Ample parking, restaurant in the hotel, full hot breakfast, great staff. I highly recommend this hotel. They go the extra mile to make it nice.

Staff was very friendly and helpful...but general maintenance and cleanlinees were lacking. Live bugs and dirty floor in the bathroom. Very loud bath fan. Restaurant had just average food. Breakfast was the usual chep alternatives but breakfast are was cold and carpets were filthy.

The hotel is very clean, but a little outdated (specifically room decor and showers). The pool was nice, and even warm, but the hot tub is no longer functioning. But still, we really enjoyed the atrium with the seating and games. Unfortunately on the weekends they allow large parties in the atrium, which was a little disappointing when we were there as a family of 5 trying to enjoy the pool and atrium. Breakfast was a little lacking, the restaurant where breakfast is served is very nice but the hot options available just were not good. There was enough to get our stomachs full, but nothing spectacular. We didn't have any issues with the hotel staff, everyone was overall friendly and helpful. The rooms were very hot and the thermostat was not functioning. We heard multiple other guests complaining about the same issue. We had to leave our window open all day and night, otherwise our room was 75-80 degrees. Overall, we would stay here again if in the quad cities area.…
