I will start with the bad; Upon arrival the front desk gals were helpful, but not friendly whatsoever. There is a little bit of parking on the street after 5pm, otherwise you have to pay to park in the ramp across the street which is inconvenient. There is a Radisson parking lot in the rear of the hotel, but we were told we couldn't park there even though there were at least 30 spots open. Then found out that the bar, restaurant and continental breakfast were all closed due to renovations, which there didn't seem to be any renovation activity. The first day ours and everyone else's cards stopped working and had to make a couple trips up & down to get them reactivated. The water wouldn't get hot the first night and I took a cold shower. The lotion and the conditioner seals were both broken and appeared to have been used. The fitness center is only 2 treadmills, 2 cycles, a tread climber and 1 weight machine that only had 1 working handle. There was no sanitizing spray in the fitness center. The pool room had a very bad odor and the water was so cloudy that I wouldn't swim in it, let along my kids. The second day I attempted to gain access with my card at 6:05am, but it wouldn't work. The receptionist then got me in, but we located a vagrant that was definitely high on methamphetamine sitting in the pool room; luckily he left without incident. We then went to the fitness center within the pool room, but she was unable to get me in. She was trying to be helpful and was embarrassed by all the issues. There is a train track right next to the hotel and unfortunately it isn't a "silent track" and the whistle blows every time a train comes through at night. The furnace/AC unit in my room was so loud that it kept me awake the first night. The second night I had to shut it off. The downtown area is sketchy at best with quite a few homeless persons and several "gang" signs being flashed out of car windows. We were told by a LEO to not walk far from the hotel and to drive everywhere for our safety. The group I stayed with didn't have "do not disturb" signs to hang on the doors. The front desk said they didn't have any, but not to worry as the house keepers only go room to room on Thursdays. The Good; The hotel itself is nice and updated well and once the bar and restaurant open up it will be pretty nice in the lobby and first floor. The beds are comfortable and rooms are updated nicely. There are 50" TVs in the rooms with around 50 cable channels. There is a nice smaller refrigerator and single cup coffee pot. The downtown area around the hotel has a lot of shops, bars and eateries and is next to the river for a nice view. Until the issues are fixed I would not recommend staying here.

We were here for a dance competition and chose this hotel because it was listed as being "connected" to the event center. Start off parking is at a city garage across the street. There is a skywalk, but wait if you are leaving or trying to get to the event center early it is locked (actually a padlock and has, very classy) from 11PM to 7AM. Upon arrival there was a 45 min wait to check in, the desk clerks were completely overwhelmed with people checking in and having to answer calls as well, not their fault, but poor staffing decisions. Then there are 2 elevators to serve the six floors of rooms. We resorted to using the stairs to our 4th floor room. The hotel markets that it has been recently renovated, but the stairways don't look like they have been so much as cleaned in the last decade. The room while serviceable was dirty as well with visible dust and lint in the eye level bathroom vent and a dirty shower. The linens on the bed were nice thought and the towels of a high quality, but they only had one bath towel for our four guests...

My daughter and I stayed here for a dance competition. She had to dance early Sunday morning so we stayed Saturday night. From 9pm until after 2am there were people drag racing along the road outside of the hotel. It was louder than any airport hotel I have ever stayed at. When I called the front desk they claimed they couldn’t do anything about it and would not call the police. The one nice thing I can say is the bed was very comfortable. The toiletries were all very cheap for an upscale hotel. The shampoo and soap were generic and very drying and the toilet paper was the awful recycled Scott’s toilet paper. The towels and linens on the bed were nice. The lighting in the room was very dim even with all of the lighting on. Lighting was all task lighting. The toilet in our room wouldn’t flush properly— you had to hold down the handle a long time and hope it would flush. 50/50 probability. There was nothing around the hotel for breakfast first thing in the morning. The hotel restaurant was still closed due to COVID. There was no one at the front desk in the morning when I needed to check out. I just left my cards.

Currently in a room here and after realizing a lamp doesn’t work, throwing away someone else’s used shampoo, conditioner, and body wash from the shower (with hair stuck to the bottles), and killing an ant that was crawling in bed with me as I lay here, I think it’s safe to say the rooms aren’t properly checked or taken care of by staff. The recent upgrades seem unfinished, the floors were dirty, the shower doors were dirty, the smoke detector is missing and the bathroom shows water damage. The location is convenient and the price isn’t bad, but look over your room as soon as you check in. :)

Stayed there for a dance competition. Super friendly and helpful front desk. Hotel was clean. A note - Not many restaurants open on a Sunday around there. Could not find drivers for Door dash/Uber eats. Pizza places were open and delivering.
