An impromptu trip brought me back to Dubuque after almost a decade. Contacted the owner to ask about availability. He was wonderful to work with and I couldn't wait to get here. The inn is beautiful! Our room was exactly what we needed. Breakfast was delicious. I can't wait to be back. No reason to stay anywhere else.

I recently stayed at the Redstone Inn & Suites while at a conference in Dubuque. My stay was comfortable, safe, clean and educational! There is beautiful historic art on the walls, the building has a history of its own, and the owner knows how to make sure his visitors have a nice stay. A nice warm breakfast is served daily...

My wife and I loved the Redstone Inn. This beautiful mansion offers a choice of 15 rooms, hospitable service, and a delicious breakfast. The room was cozy and comfortable with all the amenities of home.

From its central and walkable location, the proximity to the river, access to Eagle Point Park and the charm and comfort of the old building, this is the place to stay in Dubuque, especially on a budget. Obvious care goes into treatment of guests and the quality of the B&B. Robert, the owner, prepares your breakfast, offers local tips and...

My wife and I were looking at the fun placing to go and what places we could stay at based on out tripadvisor app and this b&b was listed. We looked at the comments and photos and decided this would be a great place to stay for an evening. All I can say is, WE LOVED IT! The old building...

Just returned from a one night stay at the Redstone Inn & Suites. Beautiful building and the rooms were just as nice. The details in the woodwork and ceilings were amazing. The room we stayed in was large and very nice. Large private bathroom with a relaxing whirlpool which felt great after being out on a rainy, chilly night The...

My cousin and I stayed two nights at this historic and elegant B&B, renting separate rooms, and we found the caretaking by Robert, the owner, to be the best part of our stay. As there is no elevator in this 19th Century mansion, my cousin needed help with the stairs and her luggage. Robert was always ready to assist and...

Location was prefect for visiting museum, shops, and other activities in Dubuque, Iowa. The management was pleasant at all times. Our room was clean, comfortable and the value of our stay was excellent. The morning breakfast was to "die" for, a home hot dish and fantastic fruit and other assorted items available. Lovely stay and will stay again when in...

This is a tired old mansion in need of some serious TLC near Dubuque’s downtown area. But inside, the rooms are nice, and this is a great alternative to chain hotels at about the same cost, and breakfast here is much better! The rooms are decorated in a Victorian theme, and there was a fridge, microwave, and ionizing fan in...

We stayed for 2 nights and where overwhelmed by the character of the home and caretaker. Breakfast both days was filling and delicious while being accompanied by great conversation with the other guests and the caretaker. Our room was upgraded upon arrival due to a low census. Plus all of the major attractions in Dubuque where within walking distance. We...
