This was our 4th time at the Redstone in 9 months. Robert was a very gracious host the inn is so clean and beautiful like stepping somewhere back in time the beds are firm with lots of amenities. Microwave fridge and huge whirlpool tub. We cant wait to stay there again close to shopping restaurants, vinny vanucchis, stone cliff winery...

Recently spent two nights in Dubuque on a weekend. The proprietor was extremely friendly and helpful from carrying our bags to our room to going out in the morning to pay the meter in the parking lot across the street so we wouldn't get a ticket. The interior of the Inn is fantastic and right out of a fin de...

We had the opportunity to experience the rude customer service with our brief interaction with Robert. My wife and I made a reservation for four nights stay at the Redstone Inn only to realize that we had made a mistake. Apparently there are several Redstone Inns including Iowa, Utah and Colorado. Without realizing our mistake, we showed up at the...

You will not forget the REDSTONE INN. Located close to downtown Dubuque. Very Clean. Nice people run it. A mansion straight from the 1800's with original pictures of people that lived there. Every piece of wood and staircase and corner moldings and light fixtures are pieces of art. A must see at least once. Rooms are very comfortable. Flatscreen TV's....

Recently stayed at Redstone Inn, this was our first experience with a bed and breakfast. Not at all disappointed, very charming home. Robert, the owner is very gracious and serves a great breakfast in the morning. We stayed in the AA Cooper room, which was surprisingly quiet considering it is right at the top of the stairs. (Our only complaint...

My boyfriend and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Dubuque. We came across the Redstone Inn and I'm glad we did. We arrived and I was suprised at the beauty of the mansion. It was clean and polished at every corner. Robert, the owner, was delightful, very accomodating, attentive, gracious and kind. He carried our bags to our...

Close to downtown. Excellant breakfast and the host, Robert. He will even fill your parking meter in the morning and help you with your bags. Ask Robert about how he ended up in Iowa and able becoming the owner.

We stayed recently at the Redstone Inn while in town for the Julien Dubuque Film Festival. We loved our stay! Robert the owner was very attentive to our needs and was there anytime we had a question or needed help. The building is of course "old school" and filled with character and charm. We'll be back again.

The Redstone was the home manufacturer A. A. Cooper built for his daughter and her husband. It remains one of the grandest mansions in Dubuque. The fret-work inside is certainly some of the finest in the city and no other homes I've seen had angels in the ceiling of the parlor with gilt-heads. The room we had came with a...
