Very relaxing, wonderful room, and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in the Red room with a hot tub and a large room with a king bed. The pictures of the rooms on the website are the same so no surprises.

Great location for spending the night in The Amana Colonies. The rooms are charming and comfortable but still roomy. We expected a simple continental breakfast but in addition to fresh fruit and Amana breads, there was a selection of homemade sweet and savory casseroles.

The hotel was pretty empty and our hostess showed us several rooms and gave us our choice. It was fun to see the varying decor/themes and accommodation details. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, bathroom small but clean and adequate. Lots of good lights for reading, and a big tv to watch. Breakfast was ok , a couple breakfast...

Zuber's is a wonderful hotel with true Amana colonies decor. It is impeccably clean and adorned with so many beautiful artifacts. The room was very spacious and warm while the breakfast was so delicious. The owners and staff were beyond friendly and helpful. I have traveled for 40+ years on business and could not give a higher recommendation to other...

Our family of three had a memorable and very enjoyable stay at Zuber's Homestead Hotel in Homestead! It is more like a B&B, with lots of character, antiques galore, delicious breakfast served in a beautifully decorated common area with tables and chairs, sofas, game table, and piano! We loved it as soon as we drove up! The outside was decorated...

A warm and inviting B & B with a terrific breakfast. Owners on site and welcoming guests. Rooms are well appointed and very well maintained. We would definitely return any time visiting the Amana Colonies.

We stayed for two nights. The location was good, the history of the building was interesting. Each room had a unique theme. We stayed in the Walnut Grove a one room school house theme. This room had 2 window air conditioners, that were not the same controls. I had a hard time getting them adjusted to keep the room comfortable...

I am sorry you were disappointed with your stay with us. I have discussed, with our cook, your feelings on the breakfast and will take your comments into consideration. The OJ is a concentrate for use by restaurants and is not canned. However, both are mixed with the water from the public water system. Your comments regarding the coffee may...

What a wonderful experience it was spending our second night of our 5 day Iowa road trip at Zuber Inn. My Daughter-in-law and I stayed in the Wild Rose room. Quaint, cozy, and with very comfortable beds. Everything was wonderful including the staff. Breakfast was set in a homey, comfy dining room and was subperb. It was all homemade and...

We wanted to visit Amana in Iowa and found this hotel highly rated on Trip Advisor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was large and a great place to sit back and relax. The internet was better in that room. Our room was on the 1st floor with a queen bed and a very small shower....

Zubers Hotel is a walk back into time. Although it names itself a hotel with a B&B feel. I have to disagree. It is beautifully maintained and clean. Has about 15 rooms and children are welcomed. It does serve a buffet breakfast that is okay with many options. Yet, to have it tied to a Bed and Breakfast, I would...

Thank you for your comments! We appreciate your point of view. Let us try to address your concerns. Our guests enjoy a 5 hour window of time for check in, and we don't require our front desk staff to sit at the counter, as there are always things that can be done, while we wait for our guests to arrive....
