Stopped over during our trip from Spain so our children can sleep a bit. We payed the full price but only able to stay less than 6 hours because we have to check-out 12:00noon otherwise we will be charge again for an overnight stay. Not bad for an emergency hotel but over priced, good for people who have pets though...

Found this hotel/restaurant online and as the weather was so bad, decided to book in. The price was almost double that advertised online but when in need.... Ordered breakfast for the next morning and took a look at the menu for an evening meal. The hotel itself was quite shabby although I would not complain too much about the room...

Stopped over during a trip from Spain to Le Havre as it looked convenient being on the A71. Strange building, you have to walk downstairs to the bedrooms. Not impressed at all with our room, smelt of smoke and damp. It was a cold night and we had to have the window open for a couple of hours. The bed...

In brief, we booked into a Hotel F1 in Orleans to break up our trip from calais to south of france. The F1 was awful so we decided to leave and drive on in the hope of finding somewhere else. We came accross this accommodation at about 2am, after driving in the rain and difficult conditions. We had an 18month...

We found this hotel after driving around nearby small towns in dreadful rain and fog looking for a bed for the night on our way to Calais and home. So it was a welcome relief to come across it. Rooms very basic but quite adequate. Strange design - set on a hill so you go downstairs to the rooms. The...

Accommodation here is basic but adequate in a cleverly designed semi-circular building with wonderful views of the volcanoes, specially from the upper restaurant where a good breakfast is available. Reception was welcoming and professional this time quite unlike when we stayed here several years ago. If you are coming up from the south with a fully-laden car the car park...

this two star hotel offers an adequate room and passable dining facilities for the tired traveller at a moderate price. The place could use some renovation but all in all it's still quite ok. Although it's situated right next to the A71 it's really quiet, being sheltered from noise by a small hill. The view from some of the rooms...

Coming up from Perpignan and driving to Paris our party of 4 after much deliberation decided to stop off for the night at the above mentioned place.... mainly because it happened to be there as we were discussing the issue in our car. I would call this hotel a truckers sleepover; the type of place you see travellers stay at...

We stopped here for the night after pausing to fill up at the adjoining service area. The hotel rooms are clean and typical of any two-star motorway hotel, but the views of the nearby volcanoes are very beautiful. Before settling in for the night, we decided to eat at the restaurant. Many tables were left with dirty plates which hadn't...

I stayed here with my niece and nephew as we drove through France to the ferry, trying to beat the volcanic ash back home to the UK. The hotel is right on the motorway, part of the Volcans service station complex near Gannat at junction 12 of the A71 , concealed in a dip so has absolutely beautiful views, but...
