Always I stay in this hotel in Trinidad. Very calm and cozy hotel right on the beach. Animation and food is quite good, just a bit more vegetarian option would be great. Hope my review help you to choose this amazing hotel. Thank you and see you soon.

Although this is a three-star property, they continue to try hard to make improvements. And it's noticeable: new furniture, fresh paint, new umbrellas. It's very clean. The bungalows are great - roomy and with great views. The food is good - with lots of variety.

As always, the hotel was clean – and has even had the bungalows and lobby area freshened up with new paint in places. After Hurricane Irma, the grounds are still very well kept and the workers were completing clearing any vegetation that was damaged. The Hurricane also left a lot more sand on the beach so the rocks that were on the shoreline previously are mostly gone. The beach is the best I have seen it at this hotel in the past. They have also improved the beach bar and added an outdoor massage area- curtained for privacy. It’s a nice addition! You still have the option of an indoor massage. The masseuse has taught many people this fine art and they now call him Professor- I suggest you try him cost was 10 Cuc for …

The hotel itself was quite dated. We stayed in one of the bungalows down on the beach front which was probably one of the nicer places to stay in the hotel. Apartments were pretty clean and the air conditioning effective. The beach was ok although did get busy in the afternoon with locals. Internet was only available in the lobby and was via prepaid card. The activities desk seemed to never be attended so had to book our activities in Trinidad town which was about 10km away reachable by shuttle which ran 3 times per day at a cost of 4 CUCs each for a return trip. Cocktails were ok if the right barman / bar lady made them. The food from the main restaurant was typical low budget buffet. However there was a speciality restaurant at the far end of the resort called Lina which was…

I stayed at the Costasur as part of a Cuban package tour. Since we were off season, the beach was very pleasant. The swimming cove is naturally protected by rocks, and very beautiful. My concern would be in high season, that the beach would be unacceptably overcrowded. There is of course, a large swimming pool, which some may prefer.. I stayed in one of the beach cabanas and would highly recommend that over a room in the main hotel. The cabanas were quite nice, with bedroom, living room and bathroom. The shower water pressure was very weak, my only complaint there. There is a refrigerator and safe, tho' I had to be moved from my first cabin, as the safe did not work (not that you should trust them much anyway). Nice TV, worked well. If you are here to visit Trinidad, you are…

Pros- -Beautiful location -you can see the gorgeous mountains from the beach which you cannot at the other hotels along the Playa Ancon strip, so this is quite unique -you can walk along the beach for a long time which is great, right down to another mini-penninsula, there is decent snorkeling at this point along the beach, and we saw a stingray swim by us here (note: it is not exactly a coral reef here, but some coral and lots of different rocks in the water, so there are lots of fish and sealife to see) -option for swimming in the open ocean, or swimming in a natural sheltered lagoon that keeps out the big waves and larger fish! -you can walk to the other playa ancon beach in abt 15 minutes. It is sandier and larger, but more crowded. Beach Bungalow -excellent experience,…

I am not an expert in Cuban hotels but I do visit often all-inclusive resorts. I rate this hotel as very good considering it is a 3 star hotel. I take into consideration not only the stars but also the price and the competition it has with other hotels in the area. Costasur is an excellent combination of price and quality. On arrival we were attended promptly and were able to enjoy the facilities. In general the hotel is in good condition. But I think the key to everything is in the staff. All workers willing to help and sincerely committed to their work. We felt at ease at all times. Compared to Varadero where most of the staff treats you according to the tip you leave, here in Costasur the experience was genuine. Thank you very much for that. But the aspect that most caught…

The hotel conditions and service were average, I had to ask several times for towels since each room had only two body and two face towels and didn't seem to matter I had paid for two triple rooms, no towel service in the pool or beach area, things reported broken (a shower wall mount and a AC split unit) were never fixed. But I gave it a terrible rating due to the flies, the food in the buffet was always covered in flies, we were taking food from underneath and no eating things you couldn't remove the top or peel, still we all ended with upset stomach, my son needed medical attention when we left the hotel due to severe vomiting. The saddest part is they didn't seem to be bothered by it, doors were kept open while cleaning and no zapper or any other way to control the…

No hemos presentado ningún evento.

PRO: We stayed in a beachfront bungalow (HIGHLY recommended as the only reason to come). The beach is as pictured in other people's pix...clear, no waves due to reef type thing shielding the encove. Gorgeous! CONS: Bathroom (though it's normal in Cuba) was old, semi-clean, and poor water pressure. The food is just as bad as all the other restaurants in Cuba. At first glance the buffet doesn't look bad (see pix of buffet---ZOOM IN), however after staying here a few days we started to notice some of the same entrees (pasta, for example) that were served at lunch also appeared at dinner...and the pasta tasted like pasta in red enchilada sauce. The "salad" items were wilted and inedible. Bread was dry. Desserts were probably the dry bread or pastries soaked in milk. One of the…

Firstly, if you read my reviews, many of which are from Cuba, we visit Cuba a lot! We have stayed in 5 star, 4 star, 3 star and 2 star hotels in almost every corner of this beautiful island. So, my review comes from an open minded, experienced, and always optimistic view point. I always try to provide readers with the honest truth hoping this will assist them in their decision making, as this is what I hope for. Room – We were very fortunate, thank you to the generosity of Liyenis, the Public Relations Manager, to have enjoyed one of the bungalows for our week. These 10 duplexes are seaside by the natural pool, and have spectacular views of the Escambray Mountains, and of course the Caribbean sea. Beds were comfortable, rooms were always clean, and the air conditioning worked…
