People make a place and one could not ask for a more genial host than M. Eustache. His willingness to come to the nearest service station with us to ensure we had mastered the dark art of unmanned credit card re-fuelling was a much appreciated act of kindess. We were in the Chambre Le Verger and loved this room. The views out over the orchard to the fields and woods beyond were very pleasing. In the early morning we woke to the sound of doves cooing, spied rabbits frollicking and chickens strutting in the orchard below.

We were allowed free access to the spacious and beautifully decorated downstairs kitchen, dining and sitting area with its honesty bar, fridge etc. This certainly helped us to relax as it is so much nicer than having to stay confined to one's room-no matter how spacious. We did not appear to have the ability to make a coffee in the kitchen area but I am sure if we had bothered to ask that would have been arranged.

Dear Guests, it was a real pleasure for us to welcome you in our B&B and to understand you spent a lovely time. I'm so sorry about the coffee as "off course" it's possible to make coffee or tea at anytime 24/24, and to have for cold drinks in the frige (soft or beers or wine). For the restaurant it's... More

This was by far the best chambre d'hotes we have ever experienced. Fantastic welcome. The accomadation in a converted farm building was ful of charm and history full of family artefacts. This property has been in the family since the French Revolution
Dinner was wonderful with plentiful wine.
Breakfast was plentiful and very high quality.
Our room was beautifully furnished with a huge comfy bed and ensuite with luxury toiletries and jacuzzi bath. The large garden with fruit trees provided us with delightful views of fruit trees and the woodland walk belonging to the property. We wish we had
booked for longer than one night.
In short this is place not to be missed. After this the 4 star hotel we stayed in the next night was a huge disappointment. Do not miss this one.

Many thanks for your comments ! Be sure it was a real pleasure to welcome you in our B&B. We had a lot of fun during diner with the other guests and we are very glad you appreciated the meals and the breakfast. We'll be very pleased to welcome you again next time for one night or more. Thanks again... More
