Incredible combination of ambiance, comfy bed and pillows, scrumptious breakfasts, delightful conversations with incredibly warm hosts, Karl and Linda! Even the four legged hostess Maggie was wonderful! Wholeheartedly recommend this B & B!

We stayed on 2nd floor. (You pass through kitchen to stairway) Rooms very comfortable. Breakfast was very good & they let us eat early as we had a long drive to Glenwood-- the start of bike ride. Linda & Karl are the best! We stayed with them before Ragbrai & the night Ragbrai ended in Muscatine. There were 6 of...

What a delight! To be sure, the accommodations were delightful -- spacious and well appointed room, comfortable bed, warm environment. Deer arrived in the back pasture as if on cue from central casting. Conveniently located and easily found. It's fair to acknowledge that guests must be able to navigate stairs to the guest rooms. Breakfast was abundant and tasty. The...

I pulled in the driveway past a front yard of towering majestic trees surrounding a quaint historic brick house and barn. Linda and Karl shared the home's fascinating history with me and we talked much later into the night than we should have! I stayed in "Linda's Room" which has a very comfortable king size bed and a balcony looking...

Linda and Karl are amazing, welcoming hosts, as is Maggie! Be prepared to be stuffed with a delicious, huge breakfast and wonderful conversation! It's worth the stay just to get to know the hosts! The back enclosed porch is a great place to relax and the backyard is spectacular!

This is the most adorable bed and breakfast! We stay here every time our son has a soccer tourney in Muscatine. The loft bedroom is big enough for four people and extremely comfortable. The country decor is beautiful and the history of the house is fascinating. Linda and Karl do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. As far...

Did a surprise visit for my husband and myself for a two-day getaway trip. When making reservation picked out the room where we were supposed to stay, with a balcony overlooking the grounds. Were sent further info for sites to see nearby. Upon arrival, Linda and Karl were THE BEST HOSTS, we're given a menu for a 3-course breakfast the...

Upon arrival we were immediately impressed with the bldgs & grounds. Our Cottage Room was so quaint & immaculate. Breakfast conversations were awesome not only w/ other guests but Karl & Linda were a hoot! Love them. I would say their place is more than a B&B; it's home away from home. Karl & Linda invite you in & treat...

The Strawberry Farm is just like staying with family. The buildings (old barn, a gazebo and farmhouse) and grounds are a perfect combination of relaxing and informal. The rooms are large, well decorated and comfortable. Of special note are the breakfasts made from scratch each morning by your hosts. Over two mornings I tried both the "mess" and omelettes, which...

“All but one of the rooms require climbing stairs. Linda's room is very nice. I stayed in the loft and actually slept in the loft. That requires climbing two flights of stairs and ducking because of the pitch of the roof. There is a bed in the lower level of that room though that is a king size bed and would not have the same considerations. I actually liked the loft.”
