twowheeltours spent two nights at the Weldborough Hotel. The powered sites were great and allowed our four vehicles to all hook up on flat land. The showers offered hot water and facilities were clean. There is a large covered area where we could eat breakfast each morning and sit around the camp fire at night. We dined in the restaurant...

The whole experience of staying at the pub here is awesome. The publican is friendly and knowledgeable about the area and all the various beers and ciders he stocks from ALL (or nearly all) the various microbreweries around Tassie. The range of beers and ciders is awesome and this is backed by great food. There is enough to do in...

Stayed for one night in a camp site cabin, very basic but warm clean and comfy, infact we slept really well. The food was very good, local steak tender as and apparently very popular. Enjoyable evening with lots of mountain bikers and friendly campers. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

My husband and I happened upon the Weldborough in Lonely Planet and could not drive through the area without stopping here the night. It is a quaint old English style pub run by expats from the UK. They serve every craft brewery in Tasmania. Yes, you read that correctly EVERY craft brewery in Tasmania (this is what sealed the deal...

No mobile phone reception, only one pub in town, but what a wonderful evening with only craft beer on tap and the most amazing home cooked meals - the salmon was divine and the chicken was loved by our kids. We took up half the hotel with 2 adults and 6 kids in mid-Winter, and was a lovely night's stay....

Old pub feel? Check! Pool Table? Check! Comfy beds? Check! Clean bathrooms? Check! Hot water (and good pressure)? Check! Tasty food and beverages? Check! Friendly staff? Check! We were made aware of this place via Lonely Planet and were enticed to stay because of the beers available. The scenic drive to Weldborough meant that we were looking forward to our...

Despite the cold outside, the warm inside the hotel made my stay memorable. Double room was very cosy and warm. Nicely refurbished and secure. The bar serves a huge range of Tasmanian craft beers and ciders, a small range on tap. The meal was heartily home cooked and filling. The conversation around the fire with locals and tourists topped off...

Very historic hotel and has potential to be charming. Looks and feels run down and staff seem to do minimum or maybe the scant staff cannot do what is needed in the time they have. Ladies Bathroom had many cobwebs and live spiders although toilet and basin had been recently cleaned. Rooms are tiny but they are the original size...

After a long hard ride I was looking forward to a rest here. The pub itself was nice, the food and drinks were good, although expensive. The camping was terrible. For me a place is judged by its toilets and showers. The showers were free and hot, but filthy. The toilets also filthy, one male toilet for the whole camp...

We had two camper vans and stayed at the back of the pub recently. Nice green grass and hot showers. Toilet and shower facilities left a bit to be desired but at $7.50 a head, you can't complain! Shower was lovely and hot. We had dinner inside and it was beautiful. We all enjoyed our meal and the owner, Mark,...
