Once the pandemic travel restrictions in NS were reduced, we decided to travel to areas that we havent frequented in the past with our dogs. We spend a wonderful couple of days in North Weymouth in Cottage 4 at Bayside. The pandemic had cancelled most of their summer reservations and so we were lucky to get a last minute opening for a midweek visit. The weather was spectacular and the location ideal for exploring Annapolis Royal, Digby, Weymouth and Mavilette Beach. The hosts were superb and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. A great location for families and beach walks, lobsters, seafood and Acadian history, the cottage was well appointed and very comfortable. The only issue was that it was very hard to leave the front deck and its spectacular view out to the Digby Neck. Sunsets were spectacular and the walks on the beach at low tide were simply amazing.…
We stayed for 2 nights on Labour Day weekend and can’t wait to stay here again! Louise and Roger treat you like family while staying at one of their cottages! We stayed in Cottage #4, a 3 bedroom cottage right on the Bay of Fundy. It is a wheelchair accessible cottage with the master bedroom on the main floor with a barrier free shower in the ensure bathroom. 2 more bedrooms upstairs with a second bathroom. There is a washer and dryer for your use as well.
We stayed in cottage #4 and from the moment we arrived, we immediately felt relaxed and, at the same time, energized. The views from this cottage are breathtaking, and the property has a very private feel with just the sound of the ocean. Soon after our arrival, the owner, Louise, called us to ensure that we had found the cottage and that we had everything we needed. Louise is certainly an asset to this place. While the cottage was easy to find, the directions on the website could be simplified, as they are a bit combersome. The cottage itself was well maintained and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the claw foot tub/shower, however, it would be convenient to have some sort of a caddy in which to put soap and shampoo. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck reading and walking along shoreline (pretty rocky, so ensure you have good shoes!). During the evenings, we relaxed by the outdoor fire and simply took in the sounds of the ocean. We only stayed for two nights - would love to come back and stay for a full week. We truly loved everything this cottage had to offer...wish we could call it home!…
My family and I visited Weymouth and rented a place from Bayside Farms. The cottage/house is huge and the view is beautiful. The place has everything BBQ, washer and dryer, fire pit and dish washer. Everything you need for your family. I would definitely come here again.
This spacious cape cod cottage is very well equipped and features a ground floor bedroom with a bathroom that perfectly met our needs with an easy access walkin shower that had a seat and hand held shower. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms and a full bathroom. The cottage feels like a home away from home with literally everything you could possibly need (just bring your own hair dryer). The ice maker on the front of the fridge door was very convenient! The deck has several chairs and evening views are so relaxing. There is a fairly large screen TV in the living room but we never turned it on. We were too busy relaxing and enjoying the cottage and the views. Owners, Louise and Roger Mullen, are friendly, professional, and truly enjoy ensuring that their clients have a memorable stay with them. This is evident is their high level of repeat clients, many who return every year. We have already submitted a reservation request for next summer! …
