Stayed here as a party of 4 adults doing some sightseeing. The building is quirky with lots of character. Breakfasts are superb as are the hosts Meryl and Steve. Cannot recommend highly enough. Ideally situated for the visiting the local area. Norwich was great with lots of shops, restaurants etc. Southwold and it's pier was well worth a visit. We...

This is a lovely place and we were as charmed as everyone else seems to have been, The building is old and a little quirky, but very comfortable. The room was beautiful and everything worked well as a matter of course. The breakfast was excellent -of course - but the real charm was the welcome we got from Meryl, the...

We stayed seven nights for the dual purpose of doing an art course nearby and exploring the area. From our first contact to our last goodbyes the service was excellent without being intrusive at any time. We were met by Steve, who had also just arrived and he helped carry our luggage to our room. Our room was very large,...

This B&B is just superb. We were overseas travellers, on a long and complicated trip, with a lot of luggage. No problem - the rooms are spacious, with lots of hanging and drawer space. Everything is clean; everything thought of; and all up-to-date. I have some dietary issues, which Meryl cheerfully dealt with. It was a great base for our...

Beautifully and authentically appointed with the unpretentious appeal of a country Brittish home, The Old Bakery provided us with 'the home away from home' feel during our week long stay in Norfolk. Nothing was too much trouble for Merryl who is a wonderful Hostess and was so very welcoming and friendly. The whole establishment is impeccably clean and the Breakfast...

We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it. It was everything we expected in an English village B and B. Our room was large and included two very comfortable arm chairs. Meryl was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated little touches like fresh milk every day. Breakfasts were very generous and we liked the local produce, including fresh...

From the moment that you arrive you are made very welcome. The bedrooms ( we stayed in the Granary room) are immaculate, the bed is very comfortable. Toiletries are refreshed once used. Merely simply cannot do enough to enhance your stay. The breakfast is to die for!
