This is my fourth visit to this restaurant and it is always a pleasure. Ut is beautifully decorated and you don't have to use the same cutlery for entrees and plat! For €14.50pp you get three courses plus mous Bouch and petit fours. To start I had mousse de canard with fig confirm, my bread had a rabbit pate, both...

We read a few of the reviews of this hotel whilst we were in France and decided to stay overnight en-route to the Cherbourg ferry. Hotel Au Relais du Porhoet is situated in the main square of a delightful village, and faces the church. The proprietor was very welcoming, we were offered a choice of two available rooms and chose...

Had a wonderful lunch here today for €10.50 per person main course and dessert, €13.50 if you have a starter. It is a lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. Terrific value for money and fine dining too. Highly recommended. We have not stayed in the hotel just came to the restaurant for lunch.

We stayed here for three nights while visiting relatives nearby. It is a very pretty, small hotel in a very quiet village. We had booked by telephone and confirmed on-line but unfortunately they seemed to have lost our booking which was a bit of a disappointment when we first arrived. However, they did manage to sort out a small room...

This small hotel (12 bedrooms) is the epitome of all that's good about rural France. It is located in a quiet town about 60 km inland from the coastal city of Vannes. The immediate surroundings are unspectacular but completely unspoilt, and the place makes a good base for exploring this part of Brittany, with such highlights as the Gulf of...

We stumbled upon Au Relais du Porhoet whilst on our way up from The Morbihan to St. Malo. The dining room was very attractive and comfortable, offering privacy as it is laid out in three intimate and well decorated areas. The menu looked appealing and for 14 Euro great value. We were not disappointed. It was excellent dining. I had...

We stayed her for our first two nights of our trip to France and were pleased we did. About three hours from Cherbourg in a small village just north of Ploermel with a private car park. The en suite room with a seperate loo was very comfortable with a good bed and nicely kept as was the rest of the...
