...if bugs, spiders, and a scorpion bothers you, then don't stay in the private bungalows. That's the worst I have to say about this place. Everything else was good. Maybe a biased review because I had this entire place to my self for a couple of days. I guess off season. Private beach. Restaurant with Pupusas and ceviche over looking...

If you have not traveled to El Salvador before you need to realize that a 4 star rating here is more like a 2 (max 3) star in Canada. They do the best with what they have, and although it might not be comparable to a 5 star in Mexico they do a good job. A group of 16 of...

I stayed here for the last night of a trip where our group had an early flight out of the San Salvador airport. My bungalow was just what we needed: two beds, a TV, a bathroom, functioning air conditioning, and not much else, and resembled a freshman college dorm room. We could hear the Pacific surf, which was pleasant, and could...

We just spent a couple of nights with our family while visiting El Salvador. The hotel premises are beautiful. The waves were hitting hard, and we couldn't enjoy it that much cause of the weather, but the sight was gorgeous. I liked the whole bungalow feel of the hotel, very rutic and green. The staff was kind nd helpful.

Had a near miss..in shower....washing hair when I realised the plug hole was blocked so shower tray rapidly filling...then the shower head diintergrated and the water shot out onto bathroom floor at an almighty pressure...I reached up to attempt to replace shower head when I received an electric shock down through my hand.... several TVs blared in the lovely dinning...

I've spent quite a bit of time in El Salvador so my expectations might be a little different than others. I also live in Hawaii, so what I consider a nice beach just isn't fair. This was definitely an "okay" beach though. Possible to enjoy, the waves were nice, but just not magical. Overall, I found this place to be...

Mi wife and I took the New Years eve party deal, and had a great disappointment, the music was great, but the atmosphere was terrible, no decoration at all, just some white saving energy bulbs, witch made the place look like a funeral parlor. Before midnight they server some grapes with half spoil, serve what they call Champagne some disgusting...

Being an American and married to an El Salvadorian, this wasn't my first time to El Salvador. I knew what to expect already. This is not a beach resort by my standards, as I have traveled to Cancun and Punta Cana. For El Salvador, it's very nice. The staff was pleasant. One thing: they really should teach some of their...

I just stayed here overnight prior to departing back to the U.S. -- my experience was not at all unpleasant. We were in a Bungalow 21 -right by the ocean. You could hear the waves crashing. Our bungalow patio had hammock's and was semi-private as it is blocked by palm tree's and plant life (at least the back bungalow's were)...
