Our second stay here and planning our third. Excellent customer service. Staff very friendly and courteous. Food was as we expected: delicious. All inclusive offer was exactly that: all inclusive, no going into your pocket for extras. All arrangements are planned as you expect them to be.

We had a very nice 3 night stay at the Manoir with the spa package. Excellent spa treatments, 7 each included in the price. Their staff are very caring and professional. Then facial was the best I've ever had as well as the 90 minute hot stone massage. Our room was an Executive suite and beautiful with a view of the fall colors across the lake. The chef is very talented with delicious seasonal food on the menu for dinner. The veal saddle with local wild mushrooms and truffle was off the charts great. Although both the breakfast and lunch are buffet it is fine. The quality is high. Already booking for next year at the same time.

It was our second stay and it was as excellent as the first stay even better, since the first time was during Covid. We stayed in a four bedroom cottage a little bit outside of the hotel. It was our family reunion and all together we were 7 adults staying in the cottage and also in a hotel regular room ( the cottage can accommodate 7 people but since it has two bathrooms for a little more comfort we decided to have an extra room and extra bathroom as well). The cottage was clean and spacious with beautiful lake view and a large balcony, fireplace and a fire pit outside. We really enjoyed staying there with our extended family. The hotel service was excellent, every night at our dinner time ( our package included breakfast and a five course dinner) they made a large table for our group of 7 people beautifully. The food was very good in diner and breakfast. The hotel activities was enjoyable particularly in the fall time, including outdoor hot tub and heated outdoor pool. They provided a complimentary boat tour over the lake with amazing colourful trees in the fall time. I like to especially appreciate Mélanie efforts for arranging a little surprise for my wife since it was our 30th anniversary. I just contacted by email and asked for anything that they can do for our anniversary. She managed to order a beautiful flowers banquet, and put it in the cottage before our arrival alongside with a bottle of sparkling wine and some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. The was a beautiful family moment for us. We definitely come back next year, maybe with a larger group of family and friends spire of this fact that hotel is very far from us in Toronto.

The week before our weekend stay I received a call from the hotel telling me I had not reserved a time slot for our included 5 course meal diner. There were no mentions in any communications that we had to reserve, since there were only limited availabilities left we took one of the very last (19h45) available spots. At check in, the clerk told us us we hadn't reserved our Sunday brunch time slot, which once again was never mentionned (even on the call the week before. They said they were booked full for the brunch, which we weren't happy about, and explained no one had told us we had to reserve our meals ahead of time. The senior staff member told a coworker, right in front of us: "see, this is what it's like working at the front desk" I thought this was very rude as we stayed polite during the transaction. They offered us an 8h00am brunch which we refused and after some searching they were able to get a 9h30 slot which was more than acceptable. The 5 course diner included in our stay was less than average, I've had better for alot less. The food was bland and tasteless the entree was clearly made ahead of time and had been left in a refrigirator (most likely). The main course was good as was the desert. The sunday brunch however is definitely worth it. The rooms are average at best. The bedding and bathroom are pretty standard, nothing fancy. The spa area is nice. Overall, in my taste, definitely not worth the money (I had a gift certificate that covered 3/4 of the price of the room package and still feel like it was too expensive. I would definitely not go back.

Lovely Hotel. Room was clean and very modern. Very comfortable beds. Unfortunately the bathroom was very dated. We had a lovely boat trip around the lake. Very peaceful location. Food was great in the restaurant. Amazing wine selection. Very friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our 5-night stay at Manoir du Lac William. It’s a beautiful location, about a 2 ¼ hour drive from Montreal. We had a very comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the lake and the Nordic Spa facilities. The food was excellent at every meal, both gourmet dinners and buffet breakfasts. We both noticed the friendliness of all staff and how well all facilities were maintained. My partner received an excellent deep massage as well. We would definitely go back to Manoir du Lac William. NOTE: We stayed there during the peak summer period when there were lots of motor boats, jet skis, and float planes using the lake; although we were still able to enjoy kayaking and stand-up paddle board activities by avoiding the main channels.

Excellent service. The Suite was spacious and very clean with a splendid view of the lake. Food was excellent with several options. Le Manoir offers free activities on site including a ponton ride. Strongly recommend for a romantic gateway.

We were a family of 4, (2+2) and this was our first time as a family to go to a winter resort for spring break. While doing a bit of research on the net , I fell on this gem located in the middle of nowhere. And WOW we were not disappointed, we had an amazing time, lots of activities, great food, and the staff what could i say exceptional! We took the partial lake view suites, very spacious, TV with cable and a DVD player (they lent out movies at the reception for free) , coffee maker, small fridge, we had 1 queen bed and a mural bed that you pull down, the bathroom was big with a jacuzzi and bath robes incl. , the room also had a safe and ironing board, a nice balcony with a great view...bottom line the suit was excellent!! no microwave :( Our package included breakfast and supper, they brought breakfast anywhere between 8am-9am and supper.. the entrees and kids meal were between 6pm-7pm and the main courses came between 7pm-8pm , you don't choose the time they show up during those times, so be prepared if you have a habit of eating early . The choices were good, the quality and taste were fantastic, was impressed ! This hotel also had activities included, anywhere from ice skating on the lake , rackets in the forest , fat bikes , ice fishing , flying kites on the lake, they had an indoor rally for the kids to do and an outdoor one also on the trail. And the HUGE PLUS about this place is that they have the equipment to lend you …its included in your stay, so for a family like ours that has nothing was huge plus. Indoor pool (closed during our stay... covid) they have a spa and a small gym, outdoor jacuzzi's closed...so can't comment on any of the above did not use them. The only place for improvement is the reception, and i explain why, the staff was amazing but sometimes were overwhelmed, because they were taking care of the calls, the reservations, giving out the equipment for the activities, during peak hours 1 person wasn't enough, so couple of times we had to wait a bit longer then usual. This place was clean, we always felt safe, the staff was amazing, very professional and always smiling and willing to help. It was beyond our expectations, had a blast and will definitely return in the future. regards stud let me know if this review was helpful .

Had the deluxe suite, large, extremely clean, well appointed and beautiful but only partial view of the lake, and balcony located right over hotel entrance which was less intimate than expected. We now know to reserve in the "500s" section next time to have view on the lake and nordic spa hot tubs which we truly enjoyed! : ) The place is really a gastronomic destination. We were suitably impressed with the quality and creativity of the cuisine and with the service. Staff is really nice, having to deal with Covid restrictions and we truly appreciate their upbeat demeanor and their kindness. We are looking forward to come back!
