My wife and I stopped at the Fairfield Inn because we were exhausted! This was the only Marriott property in Hays and for quite a ways in Kansas. We were very Happy we stopped. The Front Desk person (Niko) was very friendly, and helpful. After a long, long drive I was not at my best, but Niko's energy was infectious....

Has the old Fairfield Inn decor, which is the ugly blue and orange atrocity that Marriott's been trying valiantly to get rid of. Lobby is extremely small, as is the "business center," which basically amounted to a corner cubby. Breakfast was a joke.
