This place was nice. The owners are wonderful people and so very friendly. They keep the rooms and the outside very clean. There is no breakfast but McDonald's is right up the road. Pizza Hut is right across ed the street. Very affordable rates also. Will be staying here again.

Extremely clean. A lot of love and care goes into these rooms. A little "seasoned" on the outside, but the inside is delightful. Mary is generous and enthusiastic and ensures that the rooms are in top shape.

The best place to stay in Hiawatha, Kansas. Totally renewed, comfortable, well decorated, good airconditioning/heating, parking available, and above all, the friendly, caring reception of the owners! Giving all relevant informations on the town's places, restaurants, points of interest, the guest can feel at home. Highly recommended

The Sunflower Motel provides a wonderful environment to enjoy a stay in a beautiful part of our country. This is a gem ! Guaranteed ! Not the least of its pleasant surprises are the owners. I have very rarely had the pleasure of being treated with the superb hospitality given at the Sunflower. My entire trip was made better by...

The owner was warm and kind, sharing a bit of Midwestern friendliness with this cross-country traveller. Rooms are updated and clean, in a unique style. Price was reasonable. I wish every motel was as nice as this one. The Pony Express highway is along this route, with historical sites and markers. I stopped at the Pawnee Indian Museum and State...

I haven't ever slept this good in a motel. The room was newly redone, and the bed was great! I really appreciated the fridge and microwave and the owner was very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

I was visiting the Hiawatha, KS area in October on business, and had to find a new hotel to stay in as the reputation of the hotel I used to stay at in Sabetha, KS, had declined since the last time I was there a few years ago. If you don't know this area, be advised - good hotels are...
