My husband and I love to travel and see new places and I wanted to surprise him with a little getaway that was not too far away. So about an hour and 15 minutes north, I found Lindsborg's Rosberg House B&B. I booked a room online and was immediately in communication (via email) with Sabrina, who suggested a couple of places to eat in town as well. We were able to check in a little early and she was gracious from the start. She gave us a quick tour of the kitchen, making us feel right at home, and showed us to our room. We stayed in the Turret Suite and it was beautifully arranged. We enjoyed watching TV from the couch in the sitting room and also enjoyed the warmth of the fire in the main sleeping area. (Brrr...it was cold out there!) The breakfast was amazing and the history of the house was fun to learn — be sure to look through the album in the parlor of the main floor for interesting facts.

The only warning I would present is that of the very soft mattress in this room. But because everyone has a different mattress need, it would be hard to accommodate 100% of the guests. We sleep on a more firm mattress at home, so sinking into the super soft mattress in the Turret Suite had us waking up with a few soar muscles. If that is you, too, I would recommend speaking with Sabrina. I'm sure not all mattresses are created equal in the B&B.

Regardless of that one little thing, I would highly recommend the Rosberg House and it's hostess, Sabrina. Main street is a skip and a hop away and you will enjoy all of the quaint and unique shops along the way.

You won't regret staying at the Rosberg House!

There aren't enough words to describe how relaxing, restful and accommodating the Rosberg is.
Sabrina is the most accommodating, friendly hostess we have EVER enjoyed.
We loved the Turret room with a fireplace, deck, whirlpool, 2 room suite complete with.a walk down a spiral staircase to the beautiful pool. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained.
The breakfast are DELISH Swedish pancakes, French toast, fluffy omelets, bacon or sausage and a fresh fruit appetizer. :)
It's a short walk to the shopping area
We felt pampered and rested from check in to check out.
What's not to LOVE.♡♡♡

Our third stay at the Rosberg House as a halfway point on a ski trip. This place is spectacular in every way. Beautifully redone to retain the period look with just the right modern comfort features. Sabrina is a wonderful host and the provided breakfast was outstanding. The town is unique in that it replicates a small Swedish village and it has evening meal choices that are very good. We've stayed in the Turret room and the Master Suite, both great but the latter is really special.

Our third stay at the Rosberg House and outstanding as usual. My wife and I tend to use B & B's on our travels when we can. The Rosberg house is far and away the best we have encountered. The house is perfectly restored with all of the period touches and all the modern conveniences needed for a comfortable stay. As a woodworker, I'm humbled by the trim carpentry done by Sabrina's father. Sabrina is an outstanding host and cook, the breakfast is wonderful and don't pass up the Swedish pancakes with Lingonberry preserves. We've been in the turret room once and the master suite twice, both wonderful. While this is an overnight on the way to Winter Park, CO to ski, I suspect when we age out of skiing, we will find a reason to regularly make Lindsborg a destination and spend a few nights at the Rosberg house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Rosberg House. Our party occupied 4 out of the 5 rooms. Each room with a private bathroom was nicely decorated and immaculate. The pool was refreshing and the gardens were beautiful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Sabrina is a lovely hostess and made us all feel at home. Highly recommend!

We stayed one night at the end of August. Had booked a smaller room but were upgraded to the fabulous Lincoln Room. Everything was perfect and our hostess Sabrina made us feel very welcome and provided us with all the tips and answers to our questions that we required. Apart from the amazing interiors of the house, we were very impressed with Sabrinas garden. Our only regret is that we discovered the nice pool in the backyard too late for us to try it out. If you ever travel to Lindsborg, make sure you stay at the Rosberg House. Thank you, Sabrina!

We come to this beautiful Victorian mansion every three years to celebrate special occasions since the EUROPEAN accommodation is reasonable, the breakfast delicious and the hospitality impeccable. Definitely, more affordable then visiting GERMANY, which you can’t do anyways because EVERYTHING is on lockdown in most of EUROPE. BRIGITTE LINDEN LMSW

One of our BEST Trips!!! 4 of us girls go on a girlfriend getaway every June and stay at a B&B for 3 days. We loved everything about the Rosberg House and Lindsborg. Very fun place ❤️ The house is beautiful, the breakfast was great, and the pool wonderful. The town has a lot of really nice boutique shops, delicious restaurants, and we had a blast riding the 4 person bicycle we rented.

Rosberg House is a beautiful, well-kept Victorian home with wonderful hostess Sabrina making everything perfect. Great breakfast of fruit & yoghurt, juice, eggs to order, bacon or sausage and Swedish pancakes with Lingonberry compote. We stayed in the Turret Suite - a very spacious two rooms with a large private bath with separate tub and shower, plus two large flat-screen televisions, a gas fireplace, comfortable seating, access to common living room plus outdoors a deck & porch, pool, garden and gazebo. Right in the heart of the downtown area at the corner of State & North Main - park your car and have immediate access to all of Lindsborg’s shops. Recommend a stay at the Rosberg House for a nice getaway or for anyone visiting in this area, including the larger surrounding towns.

After a very long day of travel, it was wonderful to spend the night in such a charming place. The house is beautiful, breakfast was super tasty, and the town was so cute. It was a quick stay but one that I loved. Great place.

I think all the rooms have jetted tubs. We had the Lincoln Room & there was one. I think there is a hot tub out back. But we did not use it. The rooms had bath salts you could use in the jetted tubs.
