We had a wonderful time, owners were the best, we had room #7 & 8, a great family place to stay, we enjoyed the fire pit, the BBQ area & sitting outside at the table/chairs, great relaxing time. They also rent items to go out on the Lake with as well & the prices are reasonable.
Looks nice and the people are nice. Room was generally nice except for being in the basement under where the owners live, so loud footsteps by the family of four. Included breakfast is cereal, oatmeal, bread, fruit. Location is very close to the beach. They also rent aquabikes, pedal boats, and a large boat.
Lakeside Country in is located across the street from the lake, the beach is close enough that we didn't have to haul anything because we could go across the street to our room to get things if needed. Shelly and Clifford were fantastic hosts, always checking if we needed anything. The breakfast was great, had a new fresh baked item everyday and a variety of things to please everyone. Loved that we had use of the paddleboard and other water toys. Kids played badminton in the yard. Family friendly for sure. The room was clean and as shown in the pictures (we had an outside room which was nice to have direct access to the yard). Our room was a kitchenette room and we quite enjoyed the table and chairs on the rainy evening. Would definitely stay here again.
Manitou Beach is a favourite getaway location for us, and we’ve previously stayed at the Salty Surf Inn, the Regional Park Campground (in a tent), and the Manitou Springs Resort. This is by far our new favourite place to stay in Manitou. Our room was extremely affordable, modern, large, recently renovated, and was a great home for the night. The Inn is across the street from the lake, and a block from the hot springs, so the location is perfect. Little things such as chocolates left on our pillow were a lovely touch. The continental breakfast was tasty and healthy (lots of fruit and grains, plus good coffee). The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our first stay here was brief, but we’ll certainly be back for a few more days either later on this summer or sometime next year. …
We have stayed at the Lakeside Country Inn several times this year. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean, quiet and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great, lots of fresh fruit and homemade breakfast breads(the Mango bread is incredible), steel cut oats and local jams and honey. There is an outside picnic area with bbq. Very affordable option, especially great when attending Danceland!
