I had no expectation of this resort, having joined some family for a May long weekend retreat. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the resort, and its local charm. The cost of the room is so reasonable, given that it includes your unlimited pass to the mineral pool and a full breakfast buffet! I took advantage of their...

Buffet sorry to say discussing. We drive 2 hours to meet family for a buffet. Our family is struggling with health. Watrous being a half way point. We told the waitress about the chicken pizza shrimp eggs etc. Then she never came back till the bill. Definitely would never go back. Watched the other plates going back all had the...

We visited mid-week and enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean but a bit dated. Pool was excellent and facilities were much cleaner than when I visited a few years ago. I was very impressed with the "included" breakfast the selection was way above standard. But the star was the lady who was assisting everyone. She was extraordinary! Very cheerful and...

Lake manitou is the Dead Sea of Canada and a hidden secret. The spa is large and consists of 3 pools of different temperatures. The water is rejuvenating and relaxing. The hotel is clean with great staff. The full hot breakfast is complimentary and gowns are supplied for the spa. There's great walking for this dog friendly hotel. The half...

My mom and I visited this resort as a girls getaway. What a wonderful resort. They were very nice at check-in and throughout our 2 day stay. We really enjoyed the water/pool. The change rooms were always clean no matter what time of day we went to the pool. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We did eat...

It's obvious that the folks at Manitou Springs are hard working & like what they do. Service is A1, right from the moment you walk through the door. These people know what the word hospitality means. The food in both the restaurant & snack bar is very good. The soups are home made and their fries are real, fresh cut,...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Manitou Springs Resort . Our room was a little warm the first night but was clean. I found that everywhere we went in the resort was clean. My only complaint would be the restaurant in there. We went in after breakfast and before lunch. We were the only six people in there...

We went on recommendation of friends who have been there a few times. We found the resort very tastefully decorated, clean, and pleasant. We appreciated the fact we could open the window to get fresh air and for safety, it was limited to how wide it would open. The beds were wonderful. Staff seemed to be very happy to be...

First time visit and was pleasantly surprised for a place that was in the middle of nowhere. The food and hotel room were decent, but the pool was an experience all in itself. Just imagine being able to lay back and relax in water with no chance of sinking to the bottom. Because of the high mineral concentration in the...

My wife and I wanted to get away for a day from the city busyness without spending half the day driving. We booked a day room at this place and it was a big help not only getting to go to the mineral spa for the day but being able to take a shower or a rest or change after...
